What a graet place to stay! The location is goood, and the pool is looking nice for relaxing after a day of exploring. Breakfast was delicious, and the stafff were freindly and welcoming. However, I did run into a bit of an issue with the air conditioning in my room it was blowing stale air, and it was way too hot. I let the staff know, but unfortunately, nothing was done about it during my stay. Other than that, it was a great experience, and I would coming back agian!

“Authentic Thai hotel in a great location”

Authentic Thai hotel, very clean and only a couple of minutes walk from the square and night markets. Breakfast was basic which we paid for as had to be up early for trips etc, but if you have time you might want to consider eating out. Staff are very helpful

We stayed at this hotel after staying at another property in Chiang Mai so it was difficult to not make a comparison. For me, the highlights of the hotel were the grounds with lovely plants and fountains as well as the location. For the location, it is down a narrow road so not in the midst of the super busy areas yet it was easy to walk to places of interest. It is a relatively large property (not sure I would call it a resort per se) and seemed pretty full. The room itself was a decent size and, as others have mentioned, has a sliding door for an entrance (locked with a hard key) and the lights are turned on by placing a card behind the curtains. The curtains are substantial and necessary as the bed is directly by the door. Overall, this meant for some comical activities on my part while trying to grab the key and get in and out of the room with the curtains closed. The bathroom was functional but hot water seemed to be limited. The bathroom area was not large and the open window in the shower needed attention. In general, the furnishings came across as in need of attention or replacement. I ended up staying on two different dates and my second room seemed a bit less worn. There is no elevator on site; the staircases were a bit unusual in that they had heavy metal cut structures along the hand rail making for a less than I ideal set up for those that might have any mobility issues. A room on the first floor would be appropriate for those with any concerns. The lobby was well appointed and spacious. The breakfast area had both indoor and outdoor tables. It is buffet (nothing special) with self service coffee and a pot of tea on a burner. Being able to sit out looking out into the garden while eating was a highlight. We were disappointed that the hotel does not have a bar where one could buy a drink in the evening; what they had closed early like at around 5PM. Overall, the location worked out well and the plantings were very welcome. All things considered, I am doubtful that I would stay here again should I return to Chiang Mai given the huge number of options.
