“Good value , simple property ”

The old wing is quite basic with larger family rooms in the new wing . The property is very well managed similar to a branded hotel from front desk reception through to the housekeeping staff . The old wing is quite basic with larger family rooms in the new wing . The property is very well managed similar to a branded hotel from front desk reception through to the housekeeping staff . My only complaint is that the shower is not practical and tends to flood most of the bathroom . The breakfast is above average for a budget hotel . Overall the Dehug hotel is nothing fancy but offers good value with good service .

“Nice to stay in for a quick trip to Chiang Rai.”

A nice hotel with excellent service and very polite staff. The room was spacious and clean. A nice hotel with excellent service and very polite staff. The room was spacious and clean. The location was a bit off the beaten track which could be a positive or negative for you, depending if you want to be close to the “action”. The pool looked lovely and clean but was not heated enough to swim in, despite 29 degree weather. Balcony was very small with barely space to open the door with the big air conditioner on it. The breakfast was average but again, the hotel staff are lovely.

It looks pretty from the outside, and the staff is so lovely. But the rooms are run down, the floors have very little ventilation, and you can't open the curtains of your rooms because the people on the other side of the yard can see right through hence the room is dark. It looks pretty from the outside, and the staff is so lovely. But the rooms are run down, the floors have very little ventilation, and you can't open the curtains of your rooms because the people on the other side of the yard can see right through hence the room is dark. The sheets are very thin and old. They need to be replaced, like the pillows. They smelled musty and overused. Breakfast is okay, but they leave three tea bags inside the teapot, making the teas so dark and strong it is undrinkable. Also, very few options for vegetarians, as everything has meat in it. The worst is the wifi, though. So frustrating! They say it works in the room, although they must know it does not from all the reviews on here. They kindly tried to fix it over and over; they came to the room more than once, taking up so much time! and still, it did not work. I wish they would just say, "wifi only works only at reception." The location is OK, although you need a grab to go to the center.

My name is Nida, I stayed at De Hug hotel on 29 Oct - 02 Nov for 4 nights. Hotel is beautiful and clean. But service is very poor. They assigned our room in front of elevator which is noisy all the day. On the top floor of my room, can heard the walking step very loud. In the room has the small balcony which they install the air condition coil next to the bedroom. When compressor working, it's make a noise again. I want come here to relax but I can't sleep. I asked front desk to change room. They never try to looking the new room and said only we are fully booked. I come to Chiang Rai 2 times a year. I will not choose this hotel any more.
