Location Serendipity is at the very end of Sunrise beach, nicely secluded set up on the side of a jungle hill. Sunrise beach is about 5 minutes and about 10 to beginning of walk street. Pattaya beach is about 25-30 min walk or 5–10 in Tuk Tuk. Tuk Tuk 50thb wherever you go. Whole resort faces the clear scenic sea with hump island in front, great view of over the sea to national park with Langkawi beyond that. Beach is quite small and with the villas all up the steep hill - there are many steps to get to room and back. Pool Villa The Pool Villa is just perfect for private secluded space that has been designed that you don’t need to leave the room. Breakfast for instance is delivered each morning to all guests in room. The Pool whilst small is very nice to cool down and watch over the edge into the view. The outdoor area offers a table, hammock and sun loungers. All very nice and comfortable. Bedroom space is stunning, welcoming cosy and creative effort made to the interior design. Lovely super large comfortable four poster bed with full mosquito protection. A seating area and huge wooden lounge table mainly used for putting items. Decent rustic bathroom with a generous supply of amenities. Liked they had a kitchen area with kettle and toaster (this is when bread is offered for breakfast so one can toast themselves). Plenty of complimentary bottles of water are offered. Smart TV was ok but found nothing really to watch in English unless you go to You tube. Decent amenities such as fully waterproof beach bag and mat, great for taking kayaking to another beach. AC and fan worked well. Insects are a problem but during turn down they typically light some coils to prevent mosquitos in seating area. It was quite effective. They also give various sachets of mosquitos repellent. There is a small minibar with various items but no snacks, however a complimentary bag of freeze dried fruit is offered and was delicious. Facilities The hotel essentially provides all room service so facilities are limited. However there is a nice restaurant bar set right by beach. I used for room service everyday, found the food delicious especially mango and stick rice comes with ice cream - incredible! They do offer free snorkels and also kayaks. Be wary with kayaks as to when tide goes out as I made mistake of going got long making it difficult to get back & having to leave it at another hotel Would also suggest not attempting to do whole island - it’s very dangerous waves at one end that i had to turn around. They do have decent wifi and also laundry service which was very prompt. Staff Young Staff here offer 5 star service in all areas. No complaints at all, all consistently friendly and although some struggle with English they make effort to be polite, friendly with big smiles, the reception girls go out of their way especially the lady in hijab whom really went out of her way to help me get the kayak back. They also switched my rooms due to wanting a sun lounger, the may of been next room upgrade but staff offered next day no problem. They also arranged my complete transportation to my next hotel in other part of thailand. Therefore this hotel really offers the full experience of privacy , luxury and exceptional service from start to finish for really not that much money compared to alternate options on the island. Hope to come here again as really worth the amount of travel to get here.

Undoubtedly the best location on the beach, felt very private, and in a beautiful bay. We stayed in thir largest 2 bed suite with private pool, family of 4. It was large but given price point @£600 per night expected higher quality. There is rustic and rustic luxury. This fell between the 2. Poor shower pressure, suite felt ill cared for and in need of refurbished, Construction more garden shed like in places. Bed was comfortable. Didn't like the breakfast in room offering. A highlight for me staying in SE Asia are beautiful breakfast spreads. This was not it. I was told it's because guests like being photographed in pool taking breakfast and photo ops, mmmm!. Well that ain't my bag lol. We had a plunge pool which was lovely, there is no communal pool and no beach sun loungers. Not sure if all rooms had pools. Food In the restaurant excellent, best we had on Lipe, reasonably priced. Service throughout 10/10

We didn't stay here but we did come along for dinner one evening. We got a great view overlooking the ocean, and there was a storm happening out at sea so was lovely to sit and watch while we ate our food. Food was ok, not the best we ate on the island, but because of the setting it made things seem more special, so was worth it for that. A little fancier than authentic Thai food, but still worth a trip :)
