We have been visiting this wonderful place 1-2 times every single year for the past 10 years, staying 3-4 nights each time. We started coming here before we even had children, and now, we bring our child with us every year. What keeps us coming back without fail is how the resort flawlessly maintains its high standards of service year after year. ❤️ Warm Hospitality That Feels Like Family The absolute highlight of The Dewa is its incredible team. Many of the staff members have been working here for years. They remember us, recognize our faces, and welcome us back with genuine warmth. The lovely massage therapist (Khun Pa) has known our child since they were a baby, and every conversation feels like catching up with family. It creates such a heartwarming atmosphere that we look forward to experiencing every year. 🍽️ Exceptional Dining: From Breakfast to Moonlit Dinners Breakfast Buffet: The breakfast spread is delicious and offers a great variety. A huge plus for our family is the cheese selection, which my child absolutely loves! Moonlit Dinner: Dining here in the evening is a magical experience. Having a delicious dinner under the stars right by the beach, while listening to the soothing sound of the waves, is pure bliss. 🏡 Cleanliness, Comfort, and Great Value The Rooms: The rooms are always spotless. The housekeeping team does an amazing job of cleaning and refreshing our room every single day. Value for Money: The pricing is incredibly reasonable, making it the perfect choice for families with children who are looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. 🌿 A Quick Tip for Nature Lovers Because the resort is beautifully surrounded by lush nature and sits right on the beach, you might encounter some sandflies or small insects, which is unavoidable in such a pristine natural environment. If you or your kids have sensitive skin, I highly recommend bringing along some insect repellent or anti-itch cream. 💬 Conclusion Highly recommended! We love everything about this resort. It ticks all the boxes for a perfect family vacation, and that is why we will continue to return to The Dewa Koh Chang every single year. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had a lovely stay at the Dewa. The location is perfect for those who don't want to be too close to the road but also want to be able to walk outside and go to 7-Eleven or other food shops. The vibe and the decor of the hotel really satisfied me. It's calm, with lots of greenery and the style of the hotel rooms and the villa houses are very pleasing. The hotel is situated at the beach with lots of sunbeds to lie down on. They also provide things like a a kayak or a subboard (for a fee) which is really fun. I enjoyed relaxing at the pool the most. The pool is 1m40 deep and quite big (for those who love swimming a few laps it's quite nice). There are also enough sunbeds and there is a pool bar. I was there almost everyday and had a lovely time reading, swimming and chatting. The breakfast offers a variety of food from Western style to Thai dishes, with changing menu's. The restaurant at the beach offers a nice view and the Thai dishes as well as the non-Thai dishes are very tasty. The staff is very kind and welcoming, and always ready to provide help. I would definitely recommend this if you like a more relaxed kind of stay, be close to the beach , but also want to do a few activities. I hope I can visit again.

While The Dewa Koh Chang excels in its beachfront location and striking architectural decor, our actual experience did not live up to what we expected. We paid a premium price to stay here during the low season, so we expected seamless service and pristine conditions. Instead, a severe lack of housekeeping oversight and poor organization dragged our stay down to a disappointing 3-star experience. To start, our check-in process was poorly managed. We were assured by the staff that our room would be ready for us, but it was not. We were left waiting for roughly 30 minutes just for the front desk to finalize everything and get us into the room. The most unacceptable part of the stay was the cleanliness. Even though the room had supposedly been checked and cleared for arrival, the bathtub had a repulsive smell of urine. Furthermore, opening the interior cabinets revealed a strong, distinct odor of pests. For the premium rates this hotel charges—even during the off-peak season—basic hygiene and immediate room readiness should be a given. Management needs to address these severe housekeeping failures immediately.
