We stayed for one night on our way to BLES elephant sanctuary. We received a lovely warm welcome and shown to our room. Large room, amazing balcony, great clean bathroom, beautifully styled with traditional furnishings. Recommendations for food and places to visit were provided on arrival. They called the free shuttle tuk tuk van for us for our evening meal. Breakfast was lovely - as we are vegan they were worried we would not find enough to eat but we managed and there was more than enough. We would stay here again but for longer as it is an ideal place to use as a base to explore ancient Sukhothai.

“Great location and service!”

Great location near the historical park! Extremely kind and attentive staff. The bungalow was great - just creaky bathroom doors. The hotel has bikes for rent ands they helped arrange the airport shuttle.

We had an overall pleasant experience. The location is excellent, just a kilometre from the historical park. Good room rates compared to other hotels nearby. There are several other cafes and restaurants nearby, manageable even without a car. The staff are polite, friendly, and well-trained, with many speaking very good English. They even provide a helpful information sheet with recommendations for restaurants, transportation, and more. The property is tastefully decorated throughout, from the reception and common areas to the rooms. Breakfast is simple but sufficient, the swimming pool is lovely for relaxing, and parking is convenient. Rental bikes and tuk tuk available for reasonable price. A few notes for consideration: We tried to be discreet, but it seems that sound travels easily. We could hear neighbours’ footsteps, conversations, and even toilet flushes. The massage service is offered only in-room, which felt a bit cramped for the experience. Additionally, there was an occasional smell coming either from the bathroom or the water supply.

Thai Thai Sukhothai Resort is a pretty and well-kept place with clean, well-equipped rooms. You get two bottles of water every day, plus coffee, tea and an electric kettle - basically everything you need for a comfortable stay. The breakfast is genuinely good and offers a nice mix of classic Thai options and an English-style breakfast. Service during breakfast was attentive and friendly. Location: The resort is a bit out of the way. Getting into town is roughly 1 to 1.5 km depending on where you go. You can rent bicycles for 50 THB per day, which is fine, but honestly a motorbike is much more convenient. There is a motorbike rental nearby with reasonably priced scooters, and it makes exploring the area far easier than cycling everywhere. The biggest highlight is the staff: Reception, housekeeping and the breakfast team were consistently kind, helpful and reliable. Overall cleanliness was excellent. What I didn’t like: There were a lot of mosquitoes, so be prepared. If you are a smoker, it can be a bit annoying because there are only a few designated smoking areas. Also, the balcony is monitored by a camera, which I personally didn’t appreciate from a privacy point of view. Food nearby: There are a few restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk. But if you want really good Thai food, go where the locals eat - it is honestly so much better. Overall: A solid resort with great staff, good breakfast and clean rooms, but with some clear downsides (mosquitoes, limited smoking areas, balcony camera, slightly remote location). For me, it’s 3 out of 5 stars.
