I m so grateful for the warm hospitality of the staffs at the hotel. Gift and Miu were so thoughtful. They knew about my family’s birthday in this month at check-in, so they arranged small gifts to welcome us for our stay. It’s a surprise and happy experience!

From the moment I checked in to the moment I checked out, the InterContinental Bangkok exceeded all expectations. The Ambassador Suite was absolutely stunning, offering a spacious and luxurious retreat with every comfort thoughtfully provided. Access to Club InterContinental was a true highlight of the stay, with excellent food and beverage offerings, a relaxing atmosphere, and attentive service that consistently exceeded expectations. Every aspect of the stay was exceptional, with outstanding service, beautiful facilities, and a genuine attention to detail that made the experience truly memorable. The location is hard to beat, with virtually everything you could need within easy walking distance of the hotel. Whether you're looking for shopping, dining, entertainment, or public transport, it's all conveniently located just moments away. This is a hotel that delivers the luxury and hospitality the InterContinental brand is known for, and I would not hesitate to stay here again.

I recently stayed at InterContinental Bangkok and would like to share my experience. Overall, I was satisfied with the hotel’s excellent location, facilities, and general comfort. However, there were a few issues that significantly affected my first impression of the property. During check in at the IHG Members Counter, I was assisted by a staff member named Varinporn. As an IHG Platinum Elite member, I did not receive any acknowledgment of my membership status or a welcome greeting. When I politely inquired about a room upgrade and late check out, her facial expressions and tone of voice made it seem as though my requests were an inconvenience. While I fully understand that upgrades and late check out benefits are subject to availability, the way this information was communicated felt dismissive and unwelcoming. In particular, when I requested a 2:00 PM late check out, I was initially told that only 1:30 PM would be possible, and the conversation left me feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. Interestingly, after my room was assigned, I was informed that a 2:00 PM late check out could indeed be accommodated, and I also received birthday wishes from the hotel. While I appreciated these gestures, the positive follow up could not fully change the negative first impression created during the check in process. Additionally, there was a maintenance issue in the bathroom. Throughout the night, I could frequently hear loud drainage or backflow noises coming from the bathroom drain, which occasionally woke me from sleep. I hope this issue can be investigated and improved for future guests. Despite these concerns, I enjoyed the hotel’s convenient location and overall facilities. I simply hope that more consistent service standards and warmer interactions, especially for loyal IHG members, can be maintained in the future.

One of the most outstanding concierge service I’ve experienced! The concierge is Mr Koch and he helped me sort out a most complex delivery service with some miscommunication on my part with my service provider. And he updated me often and kept me in the loop and was in contact with all parties involved. What is most impressive is also that he continued to help me with this after I left the hotel. I have to say that the software is better than hardware. Hence the rating . And location is great. Service is definitely excellent and Mr Koch at the concierge desk is outstanding!
