“Good nights stay”

The hotel was easy to find and very welcoming. We went to the cafe across the car park and a storm broke out as we were about to leave but they arranged for the hotel Tuktuk to collect us, only about 500 meters but saved us from drowning. The breakfast was very good and the pool ok

“A good stopover hotel”

A good value stopover hotel but we had trouble sleeping due to the AC. We had to move the pillows and bedding around to avoid the cold air from the AC. There is a good restaurant in the large car park.

We came to Nakhon Sawan to celebrate Songkran with the family of my Girlfriend, originally from there. The week before we spent in Centara Hua Hin, which is one of the best Hotels of Thailand. First of all, you are in Nakhon Sawan, not in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Hua Hin or one of the other touristic places, where you have top international standard hotels. So don't expect it and compare it with them. But to be honest, I have seen worse 4 star hotels in cities like London or Paris, for which I paid much more. We left Bangkok at 4am to avoid heavy traffic during the holiday period, so we arrived around 9 am. It was no problem to do an early check in at no extra cost. We stayed in a Suite in 5 floor, which was in good shape and surprisingly quiet even facing the main road and the club on the other side of the parking ground. We did not face any issues about cleanliness, only the roomcleaner was slow and made our room very late, so we had to go down to the restaurant to have a drink in the meantime. The WiFi was working without a problem, also with several devices in parallel. The staff was always very friendly, but again your not in touristic area, so dont expect a high level of english knowledge, I was happy to have my Thai girlfriend to support. The breakfast was not overwhelming but ok, maybe not set up for european tastes since the bread selection was very small. But everything there, cereals, eggs, juices, thai food, etc. (Of course don't expect as Swiss Birchermüesli) and the coffee was absolutely ok. We also had lunch in the restaurant, the food was ok and the prices not overpriced, like you find it in every european 4* Hotel. The Pool was not very appealing. We also tried out the Spa, but as I said before, welcome to the province. The ambiance was clean and ok and the girls tried their best and were very friendly. Unfortunately I was more like applying a body lotion than the feeling of a relaxing massage. For me there were three major cons in this hotel -No Safe in the room -No possibility of charging on the room bill, so u need a lot of cash instead of paying at the end all with Credit Card (And the ATM outside the hotel was not set up to accept Swiss Cards for withdrawal) -The front desk wanted to charge us 90 baht for calling a taxi to downtown, whereas the taxi would have cost less. In general our stay was ok, without major issues and I could imagine to stay there again, but will try out next time a different hotel, to get a proper Nakhon Sawan comparison.
