Best choice for a short break in Nakhon Sri Thammarat. This tiny hostel is locate in the city, just only a few minutes from the Wat Phra Thad. Many restaurants can be reached in the area. My room 201 is on the 2nd floor. The room is well maintained and clean. Free wifi with password in guest room. Tip: 1) i can found no elevator; therefore, elder people might ask for room on ground floor. 2) famous breakfast restaurant, Kopi, is just around the corner. You may choose room without breakfast option. 3) make reservation in advance, they have limited rooms.

We have stayed here for 1 night only. we have reserved thru a phone call and what's the messy part was they keep on transferring the call to someone putting me on hold only to wait for long and hang up on me. i kept calling them for 3 times until I tried speaking their language (of course not in a perfect intonation or words i must say) then he started talking to me. first impression was not that great! Getting there was a little bit tricky since it was beside the road with a not so big sign to be able to find it. We have arrived about 1 pm, the check in time was 2 pm. so they let us stayed in their cafe for atleast 15 mins or so before the room was ready. Not to mention, they need 200 baht deposit for the keycard. We have requested a room on the first floor and it was the 1st room that was assigned to us which was very convenient for us. Upon entering the room it smells like alcohol- maybe the spray they used to disinfect it. secondly, the toilet wasn't clean that much. still have tissue papers on the toilet bowl and the slippers were wet too. The room was huge, the bed was heaven! the interior was great however, you can hear the running water from the second floor and the room was not sound proofed, The terrace at the back was dirty. The staff in the morning shift was so friendly and helpful- sorry we didn't had the chance to get their names.However, the staff at night was so unfriendly and snobbish. We arrived the hotel at around past 8 pm with a handful loads in our hands they did not even bother to help us open the door of the hotel nor greet us when we passed by. i even took everything out of my hand just to capture their beautiful chandeliers and paintings but naaah they did not bother to say or do something. they just kept on chating with each other. The breakfast have limited choices- fresh milk with coco crunch, corn flakes or oats, fresh fruits- dragon fruit, banana & Melon, Salad bar, Fried eggs, Sausage & Ham (soaked in water so it doesn't taste anything anymore- better to steam but not to soak in water for long time) , boiled rice, steamed rice, bread and patong ko with various spreads, 2 types of thai food and kanom jean as they call it but still it was a good meal to fill your stomach in the morning. Check out was pretty fast and yes we got our deposit back. If you are looking for a place that is convenient to be around the city this hotel is the best for you. The hotel staff even gave us a map to follow- which is not to easy to follow but it was helpful. The hotel was near the Central world shopping mall, the night market, the markets in the morning and few tourist spots or significant places to visit. Their cafe was great- staff was friendly and helpful. the drinks was amazing. the cake i must try when i get home! :) However, the cafe closes at 17.00 and there are no other restaurant in the hotel after they close. There was complimentary coffee and tea but no sugar and creamer.

Probably wouldn't have booked if I had been advised about the lack of lift. Three flights of stairs as we booked a deluxe room, and I have mobility issues so this was painful. There were bugs in the sink in the room on the first morning, including all over our electric toothbrush heads, so we had to dispose of these and buy new. We reported this to reception and they said they'd clean. Very nice sized room, good views, decent shower, complimentary water in the (hot) fridge, very friendly and helpful reception staff, but the lack of lift and so many bugs ruined the experience. The air con also took a while to cool the room down, and then it's too cold in the night, so that was a slight issue too. Wouldn't stay again unfortunately.
