“Rather Basic Hotel with Room for Improvement”

Stayed for 4 nights. Convenient location, and clean. Breakfast was good. However, it would be good to have variations as what was served was more or less the same every day. Room was spacious. However, certain amenities, such as hand towels, kettle, coffee and tea were not provided. Nevertheless, one can request for hot water in a vacuum flask. Door lock was a rather basic key lock but at no time did we feel insecure.

“Spotlessly clean”

Decent sized rooms with good WiFi and good air conditioning. A good night's sleep. A well organised hotel but we would have liked to see tea/coffee facilities in the room. Decent sized rooms with good WiFi and good air conditioning. A good night's sleep. A well organised hotel but we would have liked to see tea/coffee facilities in the room. Breakfast just about adequate - e.g. no milk for tea or coffee but powdered milk substitute and cold fried eggs. Good downtown location opposite a market and less than ten minutes walk to the centre of town attractions. Off street, supervised parking useful.

“A nice basic hotel”

Perfectly located, it looked like a typical Thai hotel and it is exactly what it is. Obviously an old hotel but well renovated. Very nice rooms, comfortable twin beds, a clean bathroom and an air con which was a bit strange( either at the right temperature or suddenly dropping to a cold temperature… more

Perfectly located, it looked like a typical Thai hotel and it is exactly what it is. Obviously an old hotel but well renovated. Very nice rooms, comfortable twin beds, a clean bathroom and an air con which was a bit strange( either at the right temperature or suddenly dropping to a cold temperature ). The staff were great and we were lucky on our arrival to talk to a lady whose English was excellent. She advised us a restaurant near the hotel,also the market is near the hotel. After the breakfast ( very basic but not very tasty ) we rented bikes to visit the city, which made the morning perfect . ( nice rides near the river as well as visiting some lovely temples, without forgetting the morning market or the Top Nan which has some beautiful handicraft, paintings and an extraordinary tea-shop ). For 900 baht, it is a very good deal.

“Showing its age.”

Have been staying here for years. The hotel is showing its age. We had a VIP room. No hot water the first night. It appeared the second. No more free beverages in the room, as was advertised on their website. As usual, we skipped their rather pathetic breakfast, and walked over to the great Hot Bre… more

Have been staying here for years. The hotel is showing its age. We had a VIP room. No hot water the first night. It appeared the second. No more free beverages in the room, as was advertised on their website. As usual, we skipped their rather pathetic breakfast, and walked over to the great Hot Bread. I like to stay here because of the location and they have a pool. The chlorine in the pool was very intense. I suspect it was because of Corona concerns.
