Location: The hotel is located on the banks of the Mae Ping River (12 km north of the city of Chiang Mai) close to the City Hall, the city sport complex and within a short ride of the Mae Rim district, the most popular tourist attraction en route to Elephant Camp, HM The Queen's Botanical Gardens, and light adventure and golf courses. “Loved it”
This is the 3rd time we have stayed at the Imperial Resort. We love it! Great ambience, yummy breakfast and lots of sports related facilities to choose from. “Good for relaxing but not for excursions”
The rooms are old and not renovated. But good. Insist on room on first or second floor only. Nice swimming pool. Food choice is very limited. No grocery shop nearby. Very limited BF options.
