Very easy and polite check in with very helpful staff room was huge with a massive bathroom and a nice balcony ok the bed linen was sometimes a little tired but acceptable and has some quirky but amusing house rules. Buffet breakfast was very good and as a bonus could be eaten until 12 o'clock mostly Asian but all tastes and also western food available. The hotel is a little out of the city and restaurants but a 20 minute walk or a grab taxi soon solves this slight problem was not a issue for us. nice swimming pool which was a bonus after a hot day in the sun did also have a pool bar though cannot rate as did not use it. The best thing about this hotel is the staff with one in particular being exceptionally helpful and attentive who took a genuine interest in our travel plans and guided us to places in the area to visit, thank you Kwan your a credit to your profession and it was a privilege to meet you. so in the future if we where to visit Hatyai again I would not hesitate to book this hotel. “Nice hotel in Hatyai”

Went to another hotel when we arrived in Hatyai but that hotel is not clean and hygiene. So we booked Monkham Village and checked in around midnight. Everything went smooth and we had a good night sleep. Stayed here for 2 nights and will come here again the next time we are in Hatyai. Plus the staf… more

Went to another hotel when we arrived in Hatyai but that hotel is not clean and hygiene. So we booked Monkham Village and checked in around midnight. Everything went smooth and we had a good night sleep. Stayed here for 2 nights and will come here again the next time we are in Hatyai. Plus the staff cleaned the playground regularly when we were there. Good job.

“Very strict hotel rules and regulations everywhere, but clean business like but located slightly outside of city centre”

Location- Monkham Village hotel is located just outside centre of Hat Yai in quieter area. To walk to say central area where malls, markets, spas and train stations takes about 25 min walk. Location- Monkham Village hotel is located just outside centre of Hat Yai in quieter area. To walk to say central area where malls, markets, spas and train stations takes about 25 min walk. To airport by taxi it is about 40 minute drive / 3-400 thb. Within area is a small but locally popular desert restaurant ( CheevitCheeva). 7-11 is about 7-10 minute walk away. There is the odd restaurant (mostly japanese and Korean food) plus coffee shops are about 5 min walk away. Room- Superior Garden View This room was in secondary building and while clean and high up with balcony, a fairly dull somewhat unfinished room. As you arrive there is a kitchenette with sink and large fridge (x2 bottle waters offered) and a microwave. The only kitchen wear provided is literally a chopping board nothing else including cutlery or plates. Basic kettle is offered. The room itself is spacious but looks very much a new flat being prepared with various wooden cabinets no pictures no clock or bed side lamp. Large bed and small sofa with coffee table, a small desk area that adjoins the large cabinet with large samsung tv. However not smart tv so stuck with terrestrial tv channels of which couldn’t find any news network in English. WIFI though not secure (remember to put vpn on) worked fine. There are a reasonable amount of power sockets on offer. Bathroom is highlight, large spacious decent sized bath and powerful shower. however weak on amenities. No bottle water to rinse mouth with, no conditioner or body lotion offered & shower dispenser amenities are quite poor and hard to access (shower gel particularly). The balcony is small with no chair so not really much use. Even smoking on balcony with bankrupt you in fines but seemingly no smoking area outside that is clear like other hotels. Facilities - The hotel offers a restaurant. Left too early for breakfast and despite being offered a ‘breakfast box’ staff forgot about this in morning. So cannot comment on quality of food. A large pool along with bar exists but did not use. A children’s playground is also observed. Did not notice any gym. Staff- Staff are helpful overall despite a cold welcoming. They did organise a taxi for me to airport and bell boy was friendly. However my main gripe with this hotel is the welcome also involves signing a waiver that one doesn’t smoke (2k fine, have any marijuana doesn’t specify if just smoking -25k fine & also not to bring certain fruits). You are given list of rules at check in and then everywhere signs to remind you ‘not to cough in pool area’ or ‘jump from balcony’ not to do this list of rules in elevator and room. They clearly had issues before but the rules and regulations as part of the welcome is not your typical warmth from a hotel when checking in especially in the land of smiles. The additional signs everywhere on regulations shows the owner is not particularly confident with guests. I didn’t like the 1k deposit receipt I was asked to sign for receiving it back but held it from me until staff checked room. There is no minibar so don’t know if they thought I had packed the arm chair or desk table in my case (they list all item prices on hotel guide) but eventually did give my deposit back. Ultimately it seemed I was checking into a hotel in North Korea with their evasive process to not trusting guests. If in Hat Yai I think I would stay at hotel closer to centre.

First to all, Room was good and front desk was good because they can speak multi language, just the thing need to improve that breakfast abit disappointed and also been stay for 1 week, and breakfast menu seen like 90% unchange or different menu and 10% which 1 item change only. second thing that need improve is the Lift, when is peak time, need to wait about 3 to 4 round, if really got big group i guess have to wait more longer, i notice my next few room when have senior citizen was talking and i can hear super clear and super lough ever thought i never turn on balcony door, i guess the room noise cancel for wall is quite low, My most recommend is Level 5 Team house keeping super duper friendly and they always assist when we need and responds fast. room aircon super cold and i love it... overrall is quite good will go back stay, hopefully there are improve!
