“Nice place to stay”

Nice place to stay opposite the PSU exhibition hall close to street food market and 7eleven. Spacious room and toilet, sefty box, hairdryer, big flat screen TV, comfy pillow. Breakfast served daily and welcomed by fresh coffee.

While i read some reviews putting down the level of care given to the bathrooms in the rooms, it was a pleasant surprise to realise the room assigned to us was well kept with a clean bathroom. I did not have any bones to pick with the space or cleanliness or utilities provided at this hotel. The staff were perhaps not too trained in the art of courtesy but they were helpful as in during the instance they lent us an international adapter as we left ours back home.It is within a reasonable distance to the central festival mall. Parking is provided if you are driving down. Otherwise get a grab which are easily available. Also within close vicinity is a seven eleven. The hotel faces the main road but sound insulation is good. And blackout curtains were very much appreciated and welcomed.

Recent hotel with very nice rooms at a decent price just next to Hat Yai university. We chose this place for its location and its swimming pool, both were perfect but... There are many small details that where not up to the standards : - there is only 1 towel per person in the room. So when you go to the pool, you have no other choice than using your shower towel. No bathrobe provided. - there is no place in the room to hang wet towels and wet swimming suits to dry - the blind curtains don't close well, the light of the billboards in the street were very annoying all night. - the bathroom was very superficially cleaned : you could see stains on the glass wall and on the cabinets - 2 cups are provided in the room for tea/coffee but both were dirty, nothing available to clean them and no refill of tea/coffee on the second day. - you can use the elevator only with the room keycard... but you get just one keycard upon check in. One cannot to go to the pool while the other relaxes in the room. - 1000 baht deposit in cash is required upon check in, credit cards not accepted !!! it would be a great idea to inform guests before they arrive. - the safe in the room is too small to store a small laptop... no real point in having a safe! - the hotel staff were polite but not helpful at all : no information whatsoever upon check in. When we asked them how to get to the city centre, they just told us that we had to walk to the next 7/11 and get a tuk tuk there. This might be true during the day but in the evening, no tuk tuk to be seen. We ended up walking for 20 minutes before finally catching one, walking was not a problem for us but when you have an hotel in a remote location, you could at least offer to call tuk tuk or taxi for guests instead of sending them away. In summary: decent hotel at a decent price if you need a place for a short stay near the university with a lot of room for improvement to become a great hotel.
