This might be my 10th business accommodation in 2025 at Grand Ankara Hotel and every stay I become more happier than before. However each hotel has its pros and cons which I will describe in my review. Positive points: The hotel is located in the best central location of Ankara close to Tunali and Tunus streets, you can find variety of restaurants, Taverns, pubs and etc around this location. Front desk of the hotel gives you a very nice first impression with their professional behavior specially for my latest check in I should name Miss. Tamay and Miss Dilek for their helpfulness and kindness. I might mention that there has been an improvement in the front desk in comparison with my previous weeks. I guess (I am not sure) that by changing the name of the hotel to one of the intercontinental branches the team is doing a perfect job to reach the highest standards. I have to mention Miss Burçak as well for her attention to all guests paying interest to their needs and opinions. A new building has been added to the old one at behind part of the hotel. The new building has all the facilities and giving the same comfort to the new arriving guests. Swimming pool and SPA of the hotel has been renovated. The only negative point the new SPA facilities is lack of detox water, tea and coffee machine which was available in the old SPA building. In addition traditional architecture of the new SPA and Turkish Hamam is not available in the new SPA facilities. But altogether new SPA is acceptable and nice and hope drink machines and water will be added there soon for the guests. Breakfast is being served in the new restaurant next to the new building of the hotel. Very clean, nicely decorated. Moreover variety of the breakfast has been increased and you can enjoy your food in a lovely environment. The only negative point about the new restaurant is that I couldnt find juices at any buffets and I didnt know where to ask for this. I am also not aware if any fresh juices are served during the breakfast. Previously there was an open buffet for a fixed fee at the restaurant during the dinner time. In the new system this has been changed and only food is served according to the menu selection. In addition in the evenings you can enjoy both the closed lobby area and the open air outside which is heated by the heaters specially good for smokers. I should thank the lobby bar team specially kind ladies including Miss Gizem serving tea and sweets (which are very very delicious) during my time in the lobby. In sum quality of the food and drink at this hotel is very good and you can enjoy variety of food and drink without feeling any need to go outside the hotel. I guess that the sound of the elevator buttons is too high for the new building. This can be arranged by the technicians. The push button of the elevators really makes a huge sound for the new building. Regarding the rooms: Rooms are spacious and comfortable having options for sitting and working. I did not see any bathrobes in the new building rooms which might be added for the comfort of the guests. In addition I remember that the wastebasket was only put in the toilet of the room not in the hand washing location. TV size is very nice and you can watch variety of the channels. Movie and Serie channels can be added to the list. Rooms next to the main street might be a little noisy but the new building rooms are quite. Totally all rooms have a good sound insulation and you are not bother by the noise of the next rooms. Rooms are very clean and cleaning team are very helpful smiling face and hard working. I am always happy with the cleanliness of the rooms. It will be good if also dental kit is added automatically to the rooms. The guys at the entrance, security and car park are very helpful and professional. Always assisting me with the parking when I arrive with my car during my trips time to time instead of plane. The hotel price might be a little higher that the other 5 star hotels around but considering the comfort and happiness you have here it worths. Finally I want to thank again to all staff and heros of this hotel who make our stays more and more beautiful. Thanks a lot Arshiya Abadkon
