I was so happy I chose to stay at the Delta Hotel Istanbul Kagithane rather than staying in Taksim. I was only in Istanbul for 48 hours, and I wanted a hotel that was near the Kagithane Subway/Metro station. Istanbul Airport connects directly to the Kagithane Subway/Metro, and Delta Hotel Istanbul Kagithane is less than 10 minutes away on foot. I loved not having to deal with taxis and being able to reach my hotel in a completely hassle-free way. The hotel is really great! The service at the front desk is also friendly. I had a corner room and was impressed by how it was designed. I had a huge bed, a work area, and a fantastic living space with a couch that made it easy to take phone calls or unwind. The room also had a small fridge for cold drinks, strong enhanced internet for Zoom calls, and plenty of outlets to charge all of my electronics. The lighting and layout made it feel both cozy and functional. If you have status with Marriott Bonvoy, there is a lounge with small bites, which I liked. I don’t usually spend much time in executive lounges, but having access to it was a nice perk, and I really appreciated how the hotel went out of its way to recognize elite members. Below the hotel is an amazing pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and hammam that are free for guests to use until 10pm. I also appreciated the compact gym full of cardio machines and free weights. The restaurant serves a large breakfast spread that is very delicious. Overall, this hotel was perfect for everything I needed. If you want a well-connected hotel near the Metro with direct airport access and full-service comfort, this should be at the top of your list. Tip: There are plenty of great places to eat, shop, and pick up groceries within a 7-minute walk.

Entering the hotel, you feel a sense of calm and relaxation. The 1st thing that hits you is the receptionists attitude to there guests, upon arrival , we met outside and were helped with our bags. Check-in was so easy we were explained all the key features : breakfast, restaurant times during the day, spa times ect. We were then given 2 key cards and directed to the lift and our room. Upon entering, you were met with comfort. Air con was amazing, bathroom had all the facilities you would need big shower, toilet bidet, sink with combe, shaving kit, toothbrush, toothpaste, sewing kit ect. Soft towels, hairdryer, shaving point, and more. There was a mini fridge stocked, a kettle with tea and coffee available, a coffee machine, mounted TV tall windows looking out which had privacy screen glass and lovely view of culture and life. It was situated near bars and cafes local supermarket and a is shopping centre. BREAKFAST. 7am went for breakfast, and it was laid out in about 7 sections. Starting with many types of turkish bread and white sliced for the non adventurous people it had a oaster then pastries then soup, and cooked food like egg dishes vegetables potato wedgies, onion rings,and a chef that is there to cook omelette as you would like. You come to a hole inner frame of honey you can cut , pickles jams salads, several cheeses cold meat, youghurts cereal fruit and ending with coffee tea, or orange juice. During our stay, the hotel constantly played soft jazz in the background, which gave you a calm feel. Every time you entered the reception to go out or for breakfast, you were always greeted. The restaurant was calm and had reasonable prices. We had soups and delta mix. The only criticism was the soup was clearly microwave as it was left to boil over the bowls, which is in the picture. And should not be allowed to be served. Spa. Had a lovley pool and jacuzzi and a small pool for the children. The indoor pool had loungers. It supplied towels, slippers, massage pants, and hamam towels as a package. There was a fitness room with many machines, hamam,sauna, and steam rooms, and it also offered a massage service. There is so much positive to say the list is endless
