Our stay at the Neorion Hotel in Istanbul was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we walked through the doors, we were welcomed like family, and that level of warmth and hospitality continued throughout our entire stay. The room was spacious and thoughtfully designed, featuring two bathrooms and a separate lounging area away from the bedroom, which made it incredibly comfortable and relaxing after long days of exploring the city. Where this hotel truly shines is its service. The staff went above and beyond in every interaction—attentive, friendly, and genuinely invested in making our stay perfect. The breakfast each morning was outstanding, offering a wide variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, and delicious options, with staff personally attending to us to ensure we had everything we needed. We also took advantage of the hotel’s massage services and highly recommend the Turkish Bath experience—it was both relaxing and culturally enriching, and a perfect addition to our stay. The location is another huge highlight. Situated right in the heart of the Old City, the hotel is within a 15-minute walk of most major historical sites, including easy access to the Grand Bazaar, Spice Bazaar, and countless fantastic restaurant options. Without a doubt, we will be staying here again on our next trip to Istanbul. This hotel exceeded expectations in every way. Highly recommended!

We spent a week traveling in Turkey on tour and extended the ending stay in Istanbul, upgrading to the Neorion Hotel in the Sirkeci neighborhood. During the tour we spent nights in good but average hotels, but the Neorion is definitely a step up. Though more expensive, the value seemed reasonable with included spa access and better quality and service compared to cheaper nearby options (we also stayed nearby for the tour). The hotel is perfect for sightseeing, within walking distance to most major historic attractions (Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, Spice Market, Galata Bridge, etc) with metro station and trams just a street away and a few blocks from Sirkeci train station. Many restaurants, cafes, pubs, and small shops are on nearby streets. The property with its ornate facade is welcoming and spotless inside the elegant lobby area. A ground floor spa is included with the stay with small pool, sauna, massage whirlpool, and hammam, though not full service the hammam experience was still enjoyable. The good sized room and bathroom has nice amenities, though not brand new are in great condition and kept spotless throughout the stay. Eco-friendly shampoo and soap dispensers are used in the shower. Turkish delight is provided daily, along with bottled water. Street noise is minimal from the 4th floor room. There’s stair access from the 6th floor to a rooftop terrace with views of the Bosphorus and a top rated restaurant that seems associated with a different hotel, but the restaurant feels part of the Neorion. A buffet breakfast is served in the lobby with a good selection of quality items. How can you go wrong with tiramisu for breakfast! Best of all was the level of service from everyone at the Neorion from the staff at the front desk, breakfast, spa, house keeping, and restaurant making this a great way to end this trip to Turkey.

“Very Nice Hotel”

Very attentive staff in a lovely hotel right in the middle of a nice area full of shops and close to many great attractions. Breakfast is spectacular. Thank you Mehmet Şef and everyone for a good time and your friendliness every day we stayed there.

Gorgeous small hotel in ideal part of the city. Easy access to major sites. Nearby tram makes traveling the city very easy. Exceptional breakfast in the morning was amazing. Quality run by an outstanding staff who was very accommodating and willing to grant any request. Our only downside was work being done on the subway system nearby, which led to excessive construction noise at night, but this is temporary, and the staff was more than willing to move our room to the back side of the hotel to decrease the noise. Travel from the airport is approximately an hour by car, so make time for that in your plans. Would highly recommend this hotel. also the rooftop restaurant and bar is exceptional and had fabulous food and a wonderful view at night.
