I stayed one week in this hotel around end of September. Overall a good hotel. It’s a small hotel with maybe 18 to 20 rooms or so hence facilities are definitely not comparable with a big 100 room hotel. But, if you like smaller hotels you get most you would look for then. The personnel know you after the 2nd day and show it. They help you with small and big things and after a few days you don’t have to ask for certain things anymore, they just know. On the other hand, they are not drilled like in bigger hotels. I would call that authentic, others might see that differently. Nevertheless, lets come to the facts: - They have a great cook. He had got some awards and gives you mostly fresh and tasty food. Mostly we just ask him for some recommendation and he never disappointed me. - There is enough personnel around the clock, they will always serve yu and go out of their way for you. - It’s very quit, no traffic or loud music, nothing - Room I stayed in was spacious and clean. Shower cabin lacked a door. They said they would replace that the next day but never did. You can complain about that, or call it “authentic”. I didn’t bother, I didn’t have to clean the floor afterwards. Still, they could have done better on that. - Smoking is allowed. I don’t care nor smoke, my accompanying traveller did. My room did not smell of smoke at all. So pure non-smokers will feel fine. All the floors are tiled which may help smells and stains and keeps it clean as well. - There is lots of seating outside the rooms so those who want to work will find enough ample space. - We used their conference room for a day. We had to kick them a bit to provide flip chart paper but they got it from somewhere. So all fine. For a reasonable fee of 25 USD (without drinks) for the whole day. - Breakfast is OK. Buffet plus a cook for making eggs how you want them. If you plan to stay here, make sure you sit under the area with a roof as avocados fall out of the three above you. You want them to bang on the roof instead of your head. So be aware. Should they put tables under such a tree without a roof? Just call it authentic :-). Given multiple hotels I have stayed in in Kampala, this one is definitely high on my list. They charge around USD 100+. If you want to avoid the bigger and more anonymous hotels, then try this out.

Stayed for four days on business. Considering the daily rate, I have to compromise on the quality of services. As the shower space doesn't have any curtains, the floor is inundated with water. Advantage that this accommodation has: free laundry, free wife, sharing kitchen with microwave oven, refrigerator in the room. My Room was clean and AC worked well. For me, free laundry was very helpful. Overall, I didn't have any problems.i might use this hotel again.

“It's ok.but over priced”

We stayed here for 2 nights.It's a nice place but needs some tlc.it isi also over priced.location is not bad.aircons not so good.tv chanels also very little. The breakfast is pathetic.they even told us there would be no breakfast on second day if we came after 8'30.

“Good but can be better”

It is a good hotel, with beautiful surroundings. Staff is polite. Rooms were clean. Breakfast menu was limited. Very poor internet. Quiet location. Good value for money. Restaurant and wifi need to be improved.
