I must admit after I booked I was a little apprehensive of our trip but what we got was a good hotel in a prime location within Abu Dhabi. The check in took minutes and I got the lift to my room. The hotel does have an aroma, which we got acclimatised to over our visit. The room had an issue with the bathroom hair dryer but once reported it was mended within half an hour.The corridors require a bit of an update but the rooms are fine. Breakfast has a good selection from cereals, salads Asian and European style hot food. Fresh fruit, Pineapple, Melon Grapefruit and tinned fruit. Breads and sweet goods as well as tea and coffee and juices. Taxis are available outside the hotel and if you require a walk to the corniche, its about 10 minutes. If I go back to AD I will return to the Bin Majid Tower.

I stayed here for 3 nights during the Grand Prix festivities,so it was busy and relatively expensive. I asked for a room on a high floor, but was given one on the 2nd floor. Check in, however, was very quick (it was after midnight). The room/studio apartment was at the side of the hotel, so was fairly quiet, but quite dark, being overshadowed by a large building across the narrow laneway. Adding to the darkness was the fact that a couple of the lamps in the room didn't work and the others were quite dim. The apartment itself was quite spacious, with two twin beds, which were very comfortable. The aircon, flat screen TV (with cable channels) and the free wifi worked well, and overall I had a quite comfortable stay, but with a few annoying issues, including the dingy lighting, the lack of electrical sockets (the only two usable in the apartment were in the kitchenette),the lack of hot water (it was just warm), and the lack of any kitchen utensils, crockery and other essentials you would expect in an otherwise nice little kitchenette, with microwave, hotplates, fridge and kettle. There were no problems with cleanliness or housekeeping, although the general fixtures and fittings were starting to get a little tired. The hotel is well located, being near the Corniche, and there is a Lulu hypermarket just across the road. Also, the A2 airport bus terminus is just a 5-minute walk away, and you can be whisked to the airport in under an hour for the princely sum of AED 4. All in all, I did quite enjoy my stay there (with minor frustrations), and would stay again if the price was right (otherwise I'd look for somewhere else in the vicinity)

“Its Ok”

Check in Takes time. They always Make you wait. rooms are OK. Linen are so bad needs to replace. Vallet parking is Chargeable. There is no other outlets here. You need to depend on Mina hotel for entertainment. Its just OK.
