Had a lovely stay at this hotel. All staff were very welcoming upon arrival and during our stay. Excellent & clean facilities and great for friends and family. Can’t wait to come back in the near future for another great stay. Great location for nearby walks and things to do over the weekend. Thoroughly enjoyed the wide range of food at the restaurant with lots to choose from. Would definitely recommend to others.

“A good night’s sleep and a great breakfast!”

Ideal location just outside of Lincoln centre, so relatively quiet…nice after a busy day of meetings. Very comfortable stay with a great breakfast the next morning. Room was clean and tidy and all topped off with a friendly smile at reception. I’ll be back soon, thanks!

We stayed just two nights at this Hotel. The Reception and all staff we encountered were welcoming and friendly. The building itself was looking a little tired inside and could do with a touch of TLC, however it was clean and no complaints regarding the facilities. Our room was a generous size although the bed was probably the same size as our own at home even though we booked a King. We used the swimming pool, jacuzzi and spa (towels available if required from Reception). The bar had a well stocked range of drinks and a food menu with a good selection. Parking on site was not a problem. Wi-Fi is also available in the Hotel. Great location for us for our requirements for the few days, a number of fast food outlets are on the doorstep and a Hickory’s Smokehouse right outside, it is also right next door to a Garden Centre.

“An OK short stay”

My wife and I needed 1 night's overnight accommodation in the Lincoln area and chose this hotel. The hotel is in a convenient location adjacent to the A46 although it is hardly picturesque. It is situated next to a large garden centre and a huge new restaurant (Hickory's). The hotel has ample (free) parking. We were warmly greeted upon arrival and, as requested, offered a room on the upper floor. The room itself was quite large but was very dated and some of the fixtures and fittings were worn out, The a/c was not turned on despite it being a hot day. Also, the hot water was scolding. Getting the shower to an acceptable temperature was challenging and meant resorting to a very low dribble of water flow. The in-room safe was jammed shut (we reported this and were told that all the safes are very old/temperamental). However, everything else in our room worked fine, including the wifi. Sleep quality was good as the hotel was quiet and the (firm) bed reasonably comfortable. The dated/worn decor in our room was reflected in the remainder of the hotel. It badly needs a refurb. The swimming pool and spa were nice, but some of the amenities were out-of-service. We had dinner in the bar area and breakfast in the dining room. The food was good and reasonably priced.
