My husband and I stayed at The Old School B&B for two nights while attending a local wedding celebration, having had it recommended to us by a friend. From our very first interaction with the owners, Peter and David, we were made to feel genuinely welcome. After a five-hour drive from Blackpool, we were greeted warmly by Peter, who invited us to enjoy a welcome coffee in the beautiful gardens before showing us around the various seating areas. It was the perfect start to our stay, and the grounds are simply stunning. We stayed in the Milligan Room, which was absolutely lovely. It's clear that Peter and David have invested an incredible amount of thought, care and attention to detail in transforming their beautiful home into a truly boutique B&B. It was the little touches that really stood out to us – the Bio-D eco-friendly toiletries in the beautifully appointed shower room, the well-stocked tea tray with Clipper teas, filter coffee and a cafetière, along with fresh milk and chilled water waiting in the mini fridge. Despite the summer heat, the room remained wonderfully cool, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable, giving us a fantastic night's sleep. When we returned from dinner at Dell Quay that evening, we met David, who kindly offered us refreshments. It was another thoughtful gesture that perfectly reflected the wonderful hospitality we experienced throughout our stay. Breakfast the following morning was served in the beautiful conservatory, which felt more like being welcomed into someone's home than staying in a B&B. The table was beautifully set with lovely crockery and cutlery, and the breakfast selection was outstanding. We enjoyed fresh orange juice, excellent filter coffee, Greek yoghurt with berries, followed by a freshly made omelette, which was delicious. The quality of the ingredients, the presentation and the genuine desire to make every guest feel special were evident in every aspect of the experience. We travel extensively and have stayed in many boutique guest houses and five-star hotels, yet The Old School B&B has become one of our favourite places to stay. The website and booking site photos simply don't do it justice. It offers exceptional value for money, outstanding quality and some of the warmest hospitality we've experienced. Thank you, Peter and David, for making our stay so memorable. We will most certainly be back.

Peter and David made us feel so welcome. They have thought about every detail which easily surpasses many high-end hotels. The location is superb for exploring the local area including Goodwood, Chichester and the South Downs. Our room was beautiful and comfortable with a fridge and cooled water! The bed and linen were of an exceptionally high quality with everyrhing you needed in the ensuite and more. David is an outstanding chef, we thoroughly our breakfast which included homemade jams and compote. Peter's front of house elevated our silver anniversary stay. Such a special place with a charning and relaxing garden for guests to enjoy. I am sure we will return. Thank you.
