“Great service and good in the JBB & Brasserie”
Very prompt and attentive service in the James Braid Bar and the Brasserie by Gosia, Monika and team. Tasty loaded nachos served on a hot dish 👍🏼 and lovely Macaroni & Cheese with Garlic Bread. Good sized portions not too large and certainly not small. Delicious served with a friendly smile.

Absolutely amazing place to stay, with the benefit of Edinburgh Town centre 20 mins away in a taxi then to have the benefit of the bliss country side was perfect. “A Luxurious and Quiet Hotel!”
Wonderful 5-star hotel! Our room was spacious with excellent (free!) Wi-Fi. The food options were vast and very tasty. The staff is always smiling and eager to assist. The grounds are immaculate and well-kept. Overall, a very enjoyable stay!

This is a beautiful looking hotel on lovely grounds, only a 30 minute drive or so from Edinburgh. Found the staff throughout to be very friendly and helpful. “Nice hotel, wish the windows opened!”
So the hotel looked grand from the outside and areas of the place really followed through with that, some areas were a bit messy, back corridors etc, breakfast was a bit odd, clearly hugely understaffed and a half an hour wait for a table, when we got into the room for breakfast there were LOADS ... more
