“Perfect Stay”
I took my friend away for a nice little weekend away between her hospoital treatments. The Royal Hotel was a perfect place for us to stay and in an amazing location for shops restaurants and Bars. the room was clean and tidy and the beds were super comfy. Location was faultless so close to the station, staff were pleasant and helpful couldn't faultless them. Rooms were adequate although my friend and I were both disabled we were put in a room that had a deep step to enter the room, and had to climb into the bath with no hand rail to use the shower… more

“Great stay”
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Royal and its brilliant location. The rooms are very tired and the whole hotel needs updating, but it was all very clean. We enjoyed the excellent food and fantastic staff - especially Johnny.

“Would stay again”
Staff is outstanding, and location is 5-star! Hotel itself is a bit tired and needs a refresh, but the excellent staff and convenient location made ours a comfortable and happy stay.
