Absolutely perfect location if your going to an event on the NEC! Very modern in decor both inside and out. Staff were super helpful. The room was clean to a high standard and very modern. The bathroom was small but I personally preferred the walk in shower to a stand in a tub shower and the hair dryer was perfect! Our room was on the 3rd floor never heard any noise from the hallway and zero noise coming from outside. Brilliant view of the lake. Had room service 1 night and that was a tad pricey but the food was good delivered hot and in good time. If am ever going to another event in the NEC am defo booking the moxy

“Driving? Don't Bother! (Hotel Good / Parking Bad!)”

If your driving, don't bother! So the Parking. I arrived and parked at the Hotel. I checked in and was advised by the desk staff that parking is located at one of the airport car parks and you need to pay at the car park but can validate at the machine when you return. He advised the parking is normally £30 but for hotel guests its £15. £15 is still a high price and in my view it should be FOC [Feedback 1]. So I drove over, back down a strange service road, through some barriers, round a few roundabouts and found the parking. If your not a confident driver this in itself can be quite daunting. I parked, went to the machine, entered my Car Reg, I was asked to pay £25, paid, took my ticket and a 10 minute walk back to the Hotel. Back at the hotel I pop my Car Reg into the Validation machine and hand my ticket to the desk staff (assuming I would be issued with my £10 refund). After some confusion they advised that you pay on exit, not on arrival. This contradicted what one of the staff members said. They advised I needed to go back to the parking area and press the help button. I walked back over to the car park (another 10 minutes) had a chat with the guy who advised I now have to send an email. Another 10 minute walk back to the hotel. Upon checkout the next day I advised the staff member, same one who had provided the incorrect advice, that the signage at he desk could be made more clear for people to follow and understand. He laughed and said I was the only person to have ever made this mistake but nevertheless he will pass the feedback on; in a tone which suggested he would not! Quite a disappointing response and he could have at least pretended to be professional. [Feedback 2 - Improve the signage and instructions for the Parking], [Feedback 3 - Think about some staff training for feedback]. I left the hotel, had to pay a further £12 to exit the car park, emailed the Parking company and a few days later got my original £25 back. [Feedback 4 - If you are going to charge for parking make it a fixed price for the duration of the stay, the pricing is very confusing and expires at 2am each day]. So overall I wasted about 2 hours of my visit with walking, parking, emailing, complaining, now writing this all out. I had an email a few days later asking for feedback, I shared this story and they advised 'We regret any inconvenience you experienced during your stay and appreciate your suggestions for improvement. Your observations are important to us, and we will ensure they are reviewed to enhance the guest experience.' and thus I score a 3/5 rather than a 2/5 on the basis of this response. The hotel itself is cool, nice bar, nice rooms, nice light that comes on from under the bed when you get up. Quite expensive, but overall if your driving, too much of a faff and a cost, don't bother.

“Food shocking”

Food absolutely terrible, chips were reheated, lamb kofta was disgusting. Breakfast No English breakfast tea, just decaffeinated. Bread was definitely 2 days old. Cheese looks like it's been left out overnight. Room was comfortable.
