Gold standard service before arriving with clear arrival instructions, met by a lovely lady sandy who despite our train being late waited for us . Showed us around apartment and answered any questions. The apartment was very modern with amazing artwork , all amenities were fantastic , special touches like fresh juice / milk and basic breakfast items were well received. Easy walking distance from train station and enjoyed nice meal at restaurant next door . Could not fault anything and only wish could have stayed longer in this wonderful apartment!

My daughter rented the Brick Loft apartment for us as an airbnb. We were delighted with the considerate touches to the lovely apartment. It was as if someone who had experienced many disappointments in using holiday rentals had made a list of items which matter. I am not talking thread count bedlinen or highest end china (which it had), but simple things like a DECENT supply of teabags, an ACTUAL teapot, cereal, milk , orange juice etc. There were drawers and hanging space, and the accommodation was pet friendly. There were fans. The welcome guide was simple and to the point , and not laden with phrases like 'It is forbidden to...." on every second paragraph. The conditions were clear and obvious and logical. The beds were SO comfortable. What I did miss was having a toilet on the upper level . Going down the staircase at night in the dark required concentration. I found learning the light system took me a try- out or two. (The bathroom is on the ground level beside the smaller bedroom). But it all worked out fine. In the modern trend, I could not achieve quite the bright lighting I would have liked. Subdued lighting seems to be default everywhere these days. The kitchen tap remains wobbly and in need of repair. (I found this has been mentioned before ). As we were there for a family event in winter, it would have been helpful if the double wardrobe in the downstairs bedroom did not contain a folded up bed and a chest of drawers. There was nowhere to hang a dress or winter coat unless you wanted to squash them up..yet it was an adequate size externally. The area was quiet. The parking a godsend. I loved the huge numbers on all the buildings, making them easy to locate. I have been to may rentals which I describe as 'design over substance'. But this apartment was impressive visually and worked practically.

We stayed in the River Loft, which was impeccable. Fitted with incredible taste in decor, the River Lodge was the perfect place for our base in Bristol. We stayed in the River Loft, which was impeccable. Fitted with incredible taste in decor, the River Lodge was the perfect place for our base in Bristol. Dee went above and beyond to help us as we encountered a family emergency and had to find a place to stay that day, quickly! She did everything she could to help us out and we left extremely satisfied and wanting to come back for a longer stay. Couldn't recommend this place enough. Really cool complex of art studios, design-related businesses and nice places to eat nearby. Stay here!
