Hotel is conveniently situated right in the centre of Cambridge and has its own car park, which is free if you book direct, or £18 per night if you book through a third party website. “Good”
There could be soundproof devices (for example, a piece of rubber) on the door of each room to reduce the noises generated when it closes. The noises are not overwhelmingly disturbing in the daytime but can be in the late evenings.

“Weekend stay”
Very friendly and helpful staff. We had a twin room on the 2nd floor looking over to the River Cam and Jesus Green, which was very clean. If you book directly with them you get free parking during your stay. Enjoyed a lovely dinner in the restaurant on Saturday night.

Excellent location for a very dated hotel with no lifts and narrow, steep, creaky staircases. Travel light or book a ground floor room as there is no assistance with your luggage.
