“Fish…… we need a bigger boat!”
Stopped off here on route home after weekend away. Given wrong menu. Having set my heart on fish and chips the chef accommodated us. We weren’t disappointed, it was huge and beautiful…. Could have shared.

“A functional hotel ideal for Carlisle centre but can be noisy.”
We are a regular booking at the County Hotel because of its proximity to the centre. It is literally a 10 minute walk or less to the main square. “Worst sleep ever.”
The windows are paper thin, and you are literally sat in the pub listening to two pubs blast out music, aswell as the drunks screaming in the alley!
