“A wonderful pub”
My husband booked us 2 nights at this charming pub for my birthday treat, and it was just that a wonderful treat. “Sunday lunch perfection.”
9 of us went for my Mum's birthday and had a Sunday lunch which was delicious, the goats cheese and walnut tart starter was divine, the roasts were huge and very tasty with loads of meat on the plate. “Lovely weekend stay”
Just spent a long weekend here in the twin room adjacent to the main building. It was clean and quiet and I liked that as well as the usual cartons provided for the tea/coffee making facilities, you could ask for fresh milk. “Sunday lunch”
Visited for Sunday lunch. Good atmosphere and friendly, welcoming staff. Food was well presented and well cooked but, alas, was not hot, only warm. Everything tasted delicious but was just let down by it not being served fully hot. We were not rushed out and thoroughly enjoyed our lunchtime.

“Great service”
Didn't get to eat here, as needed to book a Christmas menu meal well in advance , but went for a drink before going elsewhere. Great service and interaction from all the staff!! Very impressive!!! Thank you! See you on the 28th Dec. Mrs Allen
