I just had to share my experience of the Nag's Head. I was unaware that the pub had accommodation, but now that I know, I will stay more often. I stayed for one night, in the Amberley room, which was just beautiful. The room was very clean, and although a little cold at first, once I had adjusted the radiator, it was perfect. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept in, with lovely pillows and bedding - on the same scale as a recent stay in a London 5* hotel. Great service from the staff, my bags were carried to my room. Breakfast was provided and was lovely - all the usual cereal choices, orange juice, etc., with the added bonus of a full English, cooked to order, and two pots of tea. All in all, a fantastic stay - I will definitely book again. Thank you.

“Great boozer, traditional excellence”

I love a really well turned out old pub and this place had it in buckets. Fantastic wooden floor, booth seating, traditional bar.....great selection of drinks! “Nice hotel but extremely noisy”

This is a nice pub but our stay was ruined by noise late at night. On two of the nights we stayed there, there were parties on in the bar, and it was so loud in our room that we couldn't sleep till the party finished (which was late). They really should not be letting out that room on a night when… more

This is a nice pub but our stay was ruined by noise late at night. On two of the nights we stayed there, there were parties on in the bar, and it was so loud in our room that we couldn't sleep till the party finished (which was late). They really should not be letting out that room on a night when there's a late party in the bar, I find it surprising and worrying that the manager of the hotel does not know this. Apart from that, we enjoyed our stay in the Nag's Head. The staff were always very friendly and helpful, the food was good, but the room was very small. Also, every time we flushed the toilet it produced a VERY loud noise for about 30 seconds. The hotel does not have a car park, and the adjacent public car park is handy but it costs £18.50 per day!
