“Ash was great”
Lovely afternoon spent here, food and drinks were spot on, shout out to Ash on the bar who went above and beyond with her wit and charm , will be back maybe for her famous quiz night which iv heard is a roaring success!!

“Fun puzzle quiz”
We always enjoy the quiz on Mondays run by Ashley. A nice mix of questions, and bingo to follow. A nice friendly atmosphere.

“We both had a great time at the avenue 10/10.”
Me and my fiancee visited stayed for a long weekend we enjoyed our stay,staff where friendly and manageress Claire was very helpful with everything,and the food was great especially the breakfast,we will be staying again next time we are in Durham.

“Superb”
Booked for new year but forgot to leave a review! Arrived about 4pm, had a late lunch which was nice, drinks were flowing nicely, got talking to the locals and stayed at the bar all night! “Hidden Gem”
Great spot about 10 minutes from Durham & close to Durham’s park & ride. Warm welcome from bar staff who doubled as receptionist, showed to our room. Limited off street parking but on street parking available. Pub was busy & other patrons friendly. Food was good & big serves.
