Like others who reviewed this hotel, I was placed here after after BA cancelled several flights leaving from London City. The hotel is across the road from Hatton Cross tube station however there's no step free access. There's a bus stop conveniently across the road but buses to and from Heathrow take about 25 mins. Beware, although its not that far from the terminal it is £30 in a taxi. I arrived late thanks to BA telling me I had to take public transport across London to get here despite them cancelling my flight. By the time I arrived (after 10) dinner had finished and there was no room service (odd for a 4 star hotel). Thankfully there was a wedding on and I was allowed a bit of Asian buffet. Room was a reasonable size, clean and had great air con. However there was a wedding on that was v noisy and went on till 12.30. I tried to phone reception to ask when it would finish however no matter what number I called either from my room or mobile it was not answered which made me feel a bit uncomfortable. The bed and pillows were comfortable and I slept well. Breakfast was ok - probs Premier Inn standard rather than 4 star hotel. Busy hotel, lots of coach parties. The staff were what makes this hotel - all were pleasant and helpful.

We stayed here for 2 nights before our flight, and the location is excellent for transit. It is very close to Hatton Cross bus and Tube station, making it highly convenient. We arrived at Heathrow Terminal 2, and the hotel was just a short, direct Tube ride away. It is ideal if you have a flight the next day or need to be near the airport. However, it is not ideal for London sightseeing, as central London is over an hour away by Tube.  The hotel itself is neat, clean, and equipped with basic amenities. The only real downer was the breakfast buffet, which is a raw deal, especially for vegetarians. They served a traditional Indian dish called "poha" (flattened rice), but it was actually just plain white rice mixed with turmeric—essentially yellow rice disguised as poha. The non-vegetarian options weren't much better; my husband ordered an omelette, but it arrived burnt, with the burnt side intentionally flipped upside down to hide it. There are no eateries within walking distance, but the bus stop is right outside the hotel, and restaurants are just a short bus ride away. Because the rooms were clean and the location worked perfectly for our flight, we chose to ignore these issues and simply ate breakfast outside the next day.
