“Step Back in Time”
Historic hotel for pilgrims and later coaching inn. It’s like stepping back in time. Full of character. Comfortable room. Pub in courtyard. Excellent value for room. Great staff.

“Great place for relaxing drink and food”
We had lunch for 8 people all of the food was excellent. Would recommend the Sunday lunch. Only criticism was that there was only one person serving the bar and food so took a while to order. However the food came out quickly and hot.

“Short break”
Well situated in the city but our room felt a little tired and dated. I was looking forward to staying in a pub with a real ale bar but the New Inn does not sell real ale 🙁
