We stayed with family & friends at The White Lodge over May bank holiday weekend and had 3 rooms. They were beautiful, very clean and all decorated differently. Our very spacious room (room 1) is decorated in keeping with the building, with beautifully kept antique furniture (not a scratch on them) we loved it and WOW that Seaview is amazing. All the rooms were well stocked with the essentials, and we were asked every day if we needed anything else, nothing is too much trouble. The rooms have just been fitted with new smart TV’s (freely ) which along with the fast Wi-Fi was brilliant and we could even Cast to the TV from our phone, so were able to watch whatever we wanted, a Big+ because honestly a lot of places don’t have decent Wi-Fi or allow casting so this was great for us. The Lodge itself is so interesting (super clean), with lots of lovely décor and items in keeping with its heritage. As for the location well it couldn’t be better, it’s on the quieter side of the seafront but is a short distance from the town, the main sea front or the Racecourse towards Caister. The cinema is also on the corner opposite the pier. Parking outside the Lodge is Free 😊 and plentiful. Breakfast is definitely a 10/10. Theres a help yourself are in the dining room with Tea (Yorkshire teabags, Fab) Coffee, Toast, Pastries, croissants etc, Cereals all sorts in airtight tubs 😊and a fully stocked fridge with butter pats, yoghurts and any kind of Juice you fancy, so many I can’t name them all!! To follow a good quality Full English (you get a sheet to choose from the day before) or smaller offerings like poached Eggs on toast etc, you can even request a sandwich, like a Bacon sandwich, to take out with you. They will try to accommodate requests, thank you again for putting my beans in a pot. Jean is a lovely, welcoming and friendly host, and her staff are all lovely and kind as well. Would recommend The White Lodge B&B and will be returning. It’s been along time since our first visit, as its usually fully booked when I look, but hopefully we can manage to book it again in the future.

I stayed at The White Lodge over May bank holiday weekend and had the loveliest stay! My room had recently been decorated (room 4) and had a bright seaside holiday feel to it! Also a new smart TV in that room which worked perfectly along with the fast wifi throughout the building! My room was immaculate, very clean and stocked with the essentials - Jean and her staff also asked daily if we needed anything for our rooms. The location of the b&b was ideal, quiet location on the seafront but a short walk/drive from the main attractions. Jean is a lovely, welcoming and friendly host! Jean’s breakfast is a 10 out of 10 too! Would definitely recommend White Lodge B&B and will be returning if staying in the area again. Thank you for a lovely stay x

After our booking elsewhere was abruptly cancelled, we found ourselves landing on our feet with The White Lodge, staying for Easter weekend. Jean cannot do enough for her guests; she sets the standard for hosting. It was such a nice surprise on Easter Sunday to have chocolate eggs waiting for us at breakfast, only for Jean to go and top it by gifting us these knitted chickens, which she had personally made for guests during the quiet winter. General notes: - Decent sized rooms, immaculately clean, comfy bed. - Great breakfast offering. - Good walkable location (approx 20 mins to pier) and easy to park. - Interesting 1920s building, packed with historical tidbits; loved the old newspapers on display. - Jean is always looking to improve facilities. Thanks again for a great stay; next time we plan a visit to Great Yarmouth, we would definitely look to rebook.
