Our fifth visit and another fantastic stay, this time with our friends. The food is amazing and the change of menu plus main from Brasserie menu gives ample choice not found in many hotels these days, my husband had the venison 3 nights running as said so delicious. The staff are exemplary, for the second time whilst there, my husband’s wheelchair broke and even one of the lovely chambermaids got involved in helping us. Fortunately we found a local mobility shop that loaned us a chair at a very reasonable price and they are only up the road. My husband’s has MND and many hotels are inaccessible these days but he manages reasonably well At Gisborough which gives me a much needed break. The proximity to Saltburn and Whitby gave us two trips out and I enjoy the walk into Guisborough across the fields. The rooms are spotless and the grounds well kept and my husband’s has could get all the way round in his wheelchair. The baby llamas were very cute. Hopefully we will manage another trip up this year as now think only hotel that accommodates my husbands needs with the added bonus of good food which he really enjoys and the brilliant staff to help me if necessary.

Had a lovely stay the reception was easy check in the reception staff were lovely The hall itself is lovely and relaxing The rooms was clean well decorated and we had a lovely relaxing stay it also had a bath which was a bonus The views out of the room was pleasant The location is great for the seaside and the north yorkshire moors We ate in the grill and bar which was pleasant we had a slight problem with our meals which I must say was dealt with very efficiently and the meal was very good I thought the price was very good for bed and breakfast also We had a very relaxing and pleasant stay the staff were also very helpful and pleasant WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Visiting for our 6th. time, to celebrate a birthday. All our visits have been totally enjoyable. An excellent hotel in every respect, cleanliness of rooms, professionalism and helpfulness of staff, quality and variety of food in restaurant. Another source of enjoyment is that the owner, Lord Gisborough , lives very nearby and every evening comes to chat to guests before their dinners and also plays the piano. Both he and guests, including us on all our visits, always enjoy this, with it being enriched by knowing he should be 100 next year.

Had booked for a couple of nights, seeking somewhere in the vicinity which was accessible and comfortable. Could not fault, staff brilliant throughout… warm and welcoming. Rooms well kept and comfortable. Only downside was current works for the spa which led to noise through the day which became quite intense at times. Otherwise restful stay.
