“City Break”
Stayed here to split up a Manchester Leeds trip as it's much cheaper and has great transport links. The land lady was very helpful and let me check in early fre of charge. Great location and value for money, a proper old school no nonsense pub, great to see they still exist. Will deffo stay again!

“Halifax is cool 😎”
We find it ideal, a short walk from the train station, past the Industrial museum - definitely go in there one day.. only open on Saturdays -. Some good real ale on tap 👍 in the Old post office pub.. good sized room, tea and Coffee too, heating was on in room which was great as it was chucking it … more

“One night stay”
Smooth check in on arrival. Only stayed one night for a gig at Piece Hall. Friendly staff. Room was basic but very clean. Good sized room with shower room/basin/toilet. Would definitely stay again if I'm over for another gig.

“Not for tall people”
Perfectly reasonable place for the cost, only stayed one night for an event at The Piece Hall which is conveniently located 5-10 minutes’ walk away. Greeted, presumably by Jackie, upon arrival. She checked me in, went through timings and door codes and sent me on my way upstairs. Ceilings are low … more
