Great big bag with tons and tons of hot water. The bedding was silky and the bed was very comfortable. Would return for another stay for sure very close to Gatwick airport but no noise very peaceful

Wow what a fantastic visit. First class stay . Staff are absolutely fantastic. They go above and beyond. We had three rooms between us . “Beautiful location for a celebration of life”

Langshott Manor was the perfect location for a Celebration of Life event. My family and I stayed the night before in 3 different rooms. All were beautiful, clean and in keeping with the age of the property. The staff welcomed us on arrival and showed us to our rooms. Anoop was a lovely waiter in the restaurant and was so friendly and attentive. Some relatives of mine ate in the Mulberry Restaurant and said the food was amazing. Best steak they had ever had! Sadly we arrived too late to enjoy this. Breakfast was delicious and perfectly presented the next morning. The staff were able to accommodate dairy and nut free options for various guests. We held our event in the Mulberry Restaurant. It was set up in advance and Amy was on hand to discuss how we wanted the room to look. She helped us display photos of our Mum around the room. I would say the room is perfect for around 30-40 people which suited us. The afternoon tea provided was beautiful and perfect for our event. We had pre-ordered prosecco and soft drinks ready for our arrival, but there was also a well stocked bar for anyone that wanted a different drink. Amy and her staff were very respectful and compassionate during a difficult time for us. They topped up glasses and made sure we were ok but were also discreet. Langshott Manor is a stunning property hidden away down a lane. It’s so quiet despite being so close to Gatwick. We practically had the whole place to ourselves for our event and was exactly what we wanted for our event. The only downside was that we didn’t get to meet the manager, Dan, who I had spoken to on the phone a few times and gets rave reviews in previous trip advisor comments. We will have to return for another visit when Dan is at work.

Stayed here before a midday flight out of LGW. Made a change from your normal airport hotel. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The staff were fantastic, welcoming and helpful (couldn't do enough for you). The hotel is wonderfully located (made a change for my 5am walk to be through woodland). The food offering was good (dinner) and excellent (breakfast, fantastic Full English!). Unfortunately, the hotel also showed a marked lack of attention to detail and clear evidence of neglect. The room was dusty and dirty which was very off-putting, and there were loose/broken slabs on a wall running around the garden. Used food and beverage items were left on outside tables for at least a couple of hours without being cleared away we noticed. Bits and pieces all round the garden/pond area seemed to be in a state of disrepair. It's a shame, because the good points are really good. It wouldn't take a lot to bring the place up to a very high standard (the building blocks are already in place). Apparently, they have a new Manager, whom I hope will set about addressing them.
