As quoted somewhere else, this is more a hostel than hotel. There is no reception, therefore you call a number upon arrival and receive instructions on how to enter. Although our room was clean, it was very basic. The en-suite was practical, with little room to manoeuver (there's a sign stating you have to run the hot water tap for 2 minutes to get hot water!), but did the job. There is a very basic breakfast consisting of fresh fruit, toast, cereal, porridge with tea/coffee making available in the communal breakfast area - all you make yourself, leaving the dirty dishes in the sink for someone to clean (you can take your own food into the building and use their facilities should you wish). There was no bed making or cleaning of room during our stay. The staff (cleaner and maintenance man) were friendly and helpful, and there was ample car parking available at the back. It is ideal for a cheap stay.

Nothing wrong with this venue at all. Lovely receptionist good value for money really enjoyed our stay. No problem with the sound of traffic at all or the location of the hotel would definitely recommend. “Adequate ”

The 'hostel' is OK if you need somewhere cheap, the breakfast is minimal, on the last day had to buy bread for toast as the bread bin had not been restocked, no tea/coffee facilities in the room but you have full use of the communal kitchen, the shower cubicle door was broke so water everywhere hav… more

The 'hostel' is OK if you need somewhere cheap, the breakfast is minimal, on the last day had to buy bread for toast as the bread bin had not been restocked, no tea/coffee facilities in the room but you have full use of the communal kitchen, the shower cubicle door was broke so water everywhere having said that the room was OK and clean, It was adequate but more of a contractors hostel than a hotel

I am afraid we booked this through a voucher with red letter days. The first thing we noticed when we arrived was that the front of the hotel does not look as good as the picture. I am afraid we booked this through a voucher with red letter days. The first thing we noticed when we arrived was that the front of the hotel does not look as good as the picture. You collect your key from a wall mounted security box . We entered the building and my first impression was that it was not a hotel but a hostel. Our room was on the first floor and to be fair the room was very clean and tidy as was the en suite. The whole ambience of the building and the interior corridors were not what I expected and therefore we phoned the proprietor and let her know we had replaced the key and would not be staying. Unfortunately we get no recompense for not staying so our voucher has now been used!
