Have stayed here twice recently during the heatwaves. Booked simply for a respite from the heat! Cannot fault this hotel. Clean, spacious, excellent air conditioned rooms. The fridge in the room is a godsend. Shower and toiletries are very high end. Great breakfast with loads of choice. Staff all friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back.

“Can’t praise this hotel enough”

Due to sad circumstances I ended up staying for 2 months recently , I can’t praise it enough the standard of food , cleanliness and facilities were excellent . Most importantly everyone from the front desk welcome , to the restaurant/bar , housekeeping looked genuinely happy to be doing there jobs and to helping . I came back to the hotel some nights after spending some dark days at the hospital , alone and away from family and friends , everyone on my return checked in with me and offered kind words when I needed it most . If you’re planning a trip for a weekend this hotel is close to town on a good bus route and is a hidden gem. Accor , you should be very proud of your team at this hotel . They are professional , hardworking and very kind to strangers !

Having been travelling forward and back to Liverpool for the past 3 years while my youngest lad has been at uni there, the Novotel Paddington has come my hotel of choice to stay at. I like the position which is close enough to the city centre but does not come with too much noise in the middle of the night. The nearby parking offers decent size car spaces and the 30% reduction in charges makes it a reasonable price, The hotel itself is clean and modern and breakfast is of good quality and enough selection for everyone. Finally, the staff are super - from the welcome at reception to everyone you come into contact with Back in late June to clear out the uni house and July for graduation for 2 nights.

Located next to the Spine building so it’s useful if attending there otherwise not much nearby, this is in the university district. About 20-25 mins walk from Liverpool rail station. Ample breakfast, good size room & comfy pillows, complimentary water, fridge and iron in room which were useful, my only gripe was that I had 2 beds put together to make ‘a big one’!
