I stayed at Staycity Aparthotel, Liverpool, City Centre for four nights (1–5 July) together with my colleagues while attending the Congress in Liverpool. We were looking for comfortable accommodation in a convenient location, and this hotel exceeded our expectations. The location is fantastic – just a few minutes' walk from Albert Dock, the ACC Liverpool conference venue, the waterfront, shops, restaurants and cafés. The bus stop for the direct airport bus is nearby (around a 45-minute journey), and Liverpool Lime Street railway station is also within easy walking distance. I stayed in a one-bedroom apartment, which was spacious, spotless and exceptionally well equipped. The kitchen had absolutely everything needed for a longer stay. There was also a separate utility cupboard with an ironing board and iron. The king-size bed was extremely comfortable, and having a balcony was an added bonus. Another thoughtful feature was the free filtered drinking water dispensers in the corridors, making it easy to refill bottles without having to buy water every day. The Wi-Fi in my fifth-floor apartment worked perfectly throughout my stay. Some colleagues staying on lower floors experienced occasional connection issues, but this did not affect my experience. There are only a couple of minor points to mention. The bathroom has a bathtub with a fixed overhead shower, which can be slippery when getting in and out, so extra care is needed. I would also recommend bringing your own shampoo and conditioner, as only a single all-purpose shower gel is provided. With the windows open, street noise could be heard because of nearby construction work or loud music, but once the windows were closed, the apartment was quiet. This is not a luxury five-star hotel, but it offers excellent quality at a very reasonable price. Everything has been thoughtfully designed to make guests feel comfortable. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend Staycity Aparthotel, Liverpool, City Centre to anyone visiting Liverpool, whether for business, a conference or a city break.

“Fantastic rooms! Great location”

Stayed with a group of girls over a few apartments. We had duplex apartment with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, 2 which were en-suite. The upper floor had a massive kitchen and dining area with a separate lounge area with TV. Fully equipped with TV, fridge/freezer, over and hob, kettle and hot drink making facilities. There was extra bedding, portable fans and ironing board and iron. We paid for early check and Ophelia was really quick at checking us and really friendly every time we passed reception. We had a few groups from other apartments who joined us for pre-drinks and the staff were really accommodating. We did have to give a list of who was staying which was fine. Location was central to everything we had booked so saved loads on taxis. Thanks so much!

Stayed for two nights as a group of three adults for a family birthday celebration. Apartments are located on a very lively, busy city centre street. Several paid parking options nearby. Apartment was a 1 bed with a sofa bed, very well equipped, mostly clean ( floors were filthy, we could not walk barefoot) beds very comfy, staff super friendly. But.....this is a very noisy area, especially on a Fri and Sat night I expect, lots of local bars and venues pumping out music till the early hours, for us no big issue as we were out ourselves, but you need good earplugs if you want to sleep before 3am...would stay again for a party night, but would be more likely to try the waterfront one next time.
