Very pleased with the accommodation. Small studio but great for a single person. Easy check in. Great location!

A stylish apartment, my room had beautiful views over London from the 9th floor. The space was clean and it had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The biggest con is the doors are heavy and the walls were seemingly thin. You could hear movement and doors slamming throughout the night which caused interrupted sleep, if you are coming, I'd recommend earplugs. I asked at reception the following morning if there was anything they could do, and they moved an incoming booking to another floor to ensure there wouldn't be anyone in the room next to me for my second night. I had a much more restful sleep, although could still hear noise from within the hotel. But beyond that one blip, the hotel was wonderful and I couldn't fault the team members.

“Not living up to the Locke standard”

We started in room 411, which was fine, if not a little tired/well used. The room layout was great and comfortable, we liked the addition of a little sofa. However, later into the evening we realised we could clearly hear the announcements of the elevator ('ground floor', '4th floor' - not just on our floor) and it was going to be annoying throughout the night. Also, we could hear a lot of noise from the air conditioner fan/other rooms. So we requested to move which was handled well and really easily. Ended up in 810, which was a lot more quiet thankfully. It was similarly cosy, with a quirky layout which we liked and worked well for us. However, the room wasn't properly clean. The bed linen and bathrooms clearly had been cleaned but there was a plaster stuck to the wall next to the bed, splatters of something on the wall in the toilet and someone had stuck a suit label to the bathroom door which hadn't been removed (therefore, hadn't been cleaned). Also, there was no kettle in the room (fortunately, we didn't need to use one). By this point it was late into the evening so we just went to sleep in the bed that was at least clean. Given the high standard of the reception area in the hotel and the high standard of the Cambridge hotel we have previously stayed in, we were surprised that Locke would put their name to this hotel given the standards clearly aren't the same. The thought is there, the design features are nice but it's a bit misleading to have such a high-end reception area and then such low standards when it comes to cleanliness and repair of high use areas and the rooms.
