Perfectly located within the city of London, major travel hub locations ie Euston / King’s Cross / St. Pancras & easy accessibility access to all the main visitor attractions too 💯✅ If you identify as an artist & creative type in general it really is a superb base location to stay for visiting the creative East End community hotspots like Bethnal Green(home of the museum of childhood if I can recall), Buddhist centre, nearby Victoria Park, Bow, Dalston, Hackney, Shoreditch, MileEnd etc. the wonderful East end community institution offering the best freshly produced traditional bagels 24/7 (London’s *Brick Lane’s Beigel Bake) in the whole of London 🥯** & possibly say the whole of the UK 🇬🇧, not exorbitant prices either 💯 * good spot to get a decent curry 💯 Generally & genuinely it is a fantastic opportunity experience base to explore the vast area of outdoor markets like the well known Columbia Rd flower market, Roman Rd market, Broadway Market, Islington, Camden, Spitalfields etc. as well as marvel at all the exquisite Edwardian / Victorian architectural splendour of English heritage structures like public houses etc. 💯 Within the commuter green belt you can take a take a short train ride to either St. Albans or Harpenden from St. Pancras station for the day; speaking of Harpenden I, personally will never never forget the night of the great storm of 1987 for the sleepless night, alone(I was in a certain Harpenden boarding house’s dorm bed at the time)! Despite the challenging times we find ourselves in London is still is very much appreciated cultural hotspot for everybody with the top class museums(often free to enter), Royal parks, green spaces, galleries, historic interests etc. always something good going on 💯 Via the Chapel Market in Islington there is wonderful South Asian Veggie buffet institution worth visiting 💯 Also worthy is the British Library based in the St. Pancras station area too 💯 I could go on…. The accommodation provider is also in close proximity to the traditional visitor attractions such as the Tower of London, London Bridge, Monument, Tower Bridge, St. Paul’s etc. As for the accommodation itself I was pleasantly surprised with everything including the lovely team dynamic representing the Easy Hotel Shoreditch - clean, competitively priced and comfortable(private holiday lets via airbnb etc. can be risky and a gamble), the Easy Hotel group offers a safe & comfortable alternative that I will obviously bear in mind for future reference 💯✅

Before booking with easyHotel, it's worth doing a little bit of research to understand the concept of the place, which is really very simple - these are basic, spartan, small hotel rooms offering people somewhere to stay at a budget price. That really is it. If you're booking a room here and acting surprised because there's no restaurant and everything seems very bare, you've fundamentally misunderstood where it is you're staying. It's not the Savoy, and nor is it pretending to be; however, it is preferable to anything of an equivalent price in the area. You get your own room and won't wake up in a shared hostel dorm room to tourists snoring. I was due to attend a friend's wedding in London and this was easily the cheapest option available. Given that I would be spending all of the day and evening at the wedding, all I needed was a place to sleep. I took a window-less basement room because they're cheapest and seeing daylight wasn't exactly my priority for this trip! It was extremely quiet and easy to sleep soundly. The room was very comfortably air-conditioned, the bed was firm and lovely, and the shower facilities were good. The free wi-fi was also speedy. As expected, the room was small but actually larger than that of some cheap chain hotels I've booked in London in the past. The bed was also small and if you're booking a double room for two, I would suggest that at least one of you needs to be reasonably petite. That's the only criticism I would offer (and it didn't apply to me). The receptionist was also really helpful and was able to offer instant help in locating a few shops locally. Special mention needs to be made of the mobile phone key they offer iPhone users, which allows you to let yourself in to your designated room via a pass on your phone - no need to check in on arrival. I was strangely pleased by how quick and innovative this was! If all you need is a place to sleep while you're busy enjoying London, you're fine here. If you're on a romantic trip and expect to spend a lot of time in your room, save up some more money and think about staying somewhere else.
