Clean, reasonably priced hotel with flexible check-in, decent rooms and perfect for a few nights stay. It is on bus routes, 3 minutes walk from Belsize Park tube station - down hill! I stayed in a lower ground floor room witrhout windows but that really didn't matter - there was everything required, except a 2-pin plug, but a converter plug was available at reception. While there is no overnight staff, you can check-in till 11pm. There is also parking, for a fee, but rare for a hotel in this area for this price.

My partner booked a night away in London and this location worked well for what we were doing whilst there. He told me the night before where we were staying, so I looked at the website and thought it seemed okay but when I came here and read the reviews, I was slightly concerned as to what I was coming to. (He didn’t check Trip Advisor - which is always my first port of call!) We checked in on Thursday just after 3pm and were greeted by a friendly young man that told us all we needed to know. We were asked for ID, but this is nothing new, I’ve been asked for ID in most hotels I’ve stayed in including high end establishments. Our room was lower ground room 3. It was small and bijoux, but it was modern, clean and quiet. There was a door with glass in the top half, which led outside but faced a wall, (so not overlooked and had a blind for privacy and to block the light.) I didn’t go outside, but it did give some natural light. (Make sure it is locked.) The air conditioning was good, (and very much needed with the current heat wave) the shower was excellent with shower gel, shampoo and hand soap in pumps if required and there was a little kitchenette behind doors which we didn’t use but looked adequate. There were plenty of coat hangers in the wardrobe along with a safe, iron and hairdryer. If I’m going to be fussy, the toilet roll holder was rusty, the tap was too big for the sink, so you had to be careful when turning on the tap as it would go over the edge of the sink but apart from that, I can’t really fault the room for the price my boyfriend paid and we literally just used it as a base. We checked out on Friday morning and again, we were greeted by a lovely young lady who was smiley, friendly and polite. I would return to this hotel if I needed to stay in that part of London again and use as a base, as the location was lovely and felt safe, with the tube station just up the road.

Cheap price so the size of the room was to be expected but no window is unusual. Clean and close to the tube stop. Biggest disappointment was that they did not attempt to put our children's room close to ours and we were a floor apart. The people checking in directly in front of us were on one of the same floors so they could have sorted this with a little effort by swapping like for like in advance.
