“Good place to stay when travelling for work”

Good place, good spacious room and good bed and amenities. Majda at reception was very friendly and helpful when checking in, and she was very patient with the slow system. The location is a bit out of the way but there are good bus links and brentford station is not too far to walk.

“Lovely staff and comfy beds”

This is my go-to hotel when I stay in London whilst working. It's a good price, the staff are always super helpful (Maj particularly freindly and goes the extra mile). Yes it's a cliche but the beds are very comfortable. You know what you're getting and it's nice and quiet

As ever this premier inn gives you what you expect in your room, clean and enough space to not feel tucked in a cupboard. We have seen premier inn drop off staff numbers and adding self check ins, often now faced with using that help button to get a person from the back office with a disgruntled look on their face because they are in the middle of 5 other jobs and you can't work out the check in...... Not this time, I entered the reception and before I approached the buzzer out of the office came Maj with a beaming smile and ready to check me in. There was then the parking which was done without fuss at the desk as you can't use the corporate card at the machine. All carried out with pleasant conversation of culinary regional delights. The food that evening was of the premier inn standard which over the years in my opinion is not improving, multi talented Maj now serving and covering reception with bar person and cook in the kitchen. Deep fried chicken to start, can't go wrong and yep it was standard, I went for the protein bowl salad for mains not convinced the chicken was freshly cooked just warmed through and cold in places. The full English breakfast buffet was not out in the morning and was being made to order, as the only person there and not feeling good I asked for an easy bacon sandwich and sausage sandwich with 2 hardboiled eggs so I could go back to my room. I get a plate of bacon and sausages put infront of me after 5 minutes told the eggs would be another minutes, not even directed to the dried out bread nor explanation why requesting a sandwich as a sole customer your order is not filled as expected, yes this links to the food reference above, cook can't make a sandwich! That aside the eggs come out and off I go, back in the room I make my sandwich, the bacon tasted off, the sausage texture was grainy and even after being left on the side slowly cooling the hard boiled eggs were runny still. Normally, the breakfast is ok and it sets you up for the day, you have to track someone down if you want boiled or poached eggs and you are left wandering in to find where everything is but that's about it. Maj, thank you for your greeting and restaurant service it was the highlight of a long day.
