“Great hotel, great location, great staff”

Excellent location. Front of house and bar staff were uniformly friendly, kind and helpful. Duty manger Sam was particularly good and really helpful. Great place to stay

Throughly enjoyed my stay. The hotel reception and lounge/bar area has quirky decorations with games available, a giant teddy, a giant PARTY sign and a Photo Booth. This provided a more interesting and fun stay and we took some great photos. We appreciated the free drink at the bar. Great location and the area felt safe. Had a great view with full length windows in my room. Plenty of good quality towels. Everywhere was very clean. Temperature easy to control in the room. Comfy bed and pillows. Good selection at breakfast (although would've liked to have fried eggs and not just scrambled). Hairdryer had no nozzle and was hard work to use as the cable was spiral and needed stretching. Staff welcoming and attentive - special thanks to the manager Josh. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

I had a fantastic stay at Moxy Hotel in Manchester! From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by OJ and Crispin during check-in, and I even got a welcome drink voucher—perfect for a refreshing punch. Plus, OJ surprised me with a complimentary prosecco—such a nice touch, thanks, OJ! Once I got to my room, I was even upgraded! The space was huge—both a bedroom and a living area—super clean and comfortable. I loved that there were two TVs, one in the bedroom and one in the living area. It had a minimalist design but still felt really cozy and definitely good value for money. The location was fantastic—centrally located and super easy to get around. They also provided great amenities—shower gels, shampoo, conditioner, and even a dental kit if needed. The only small downside was that there wasn’t a fridge in the room, so if you had something to store, that was a bit of a challenge. Still, throughout my stay, OJ went above and beyond—so attentive, so helpful, both within the hotel and guiding me outside. I will absolutely be back next time I’m in Manchester. It really felt like home—kudos to the whole team, especially OJ!

Stayed at Moxy for 2 nights on a solo trip The location of this hotel is not ideal due to the local pubs and clubs using the street this hotel is on, as their bottle dump, you will be woken by a new batch of glass bottles being dumped into a bin nearby, this is a regular occurrence in the evening/night. The hotel is very centrally located, however, the hotel is behind another building, so it’s hard to find off the street. The room was small, bathroom tiny, but I had nearly everything I needed. The bed was big and very comfy, plenty of outlets for charging and a well positioned TV, with a really strange choice of channels (NASA TV was an option, though it didn’t actually work) The bathroom was very very small, the shower head leaned to the left significantly from how it is stowed by the cleaners when not in use Good amount of towels on offer, they’re nice and fluffy too None of the bathroom shaving outlets work, mine was so loose my charger actually fell out! The security latch on the door does not work! Air con/heating in the room worked well, be aware the off button is on the top right of the unit, and for some reason, the system will make a weird, almost sloshing noise a few times in the night. Dinner from the bar was average, burger and fries type food with a hefty price tag. Breakfast was exactly what you would expect, buffet style, shot glasses of juice and not a lot of hot options, tater tots, bacon, beans and rubbery scrambled eggs was about it. Cold options were just a couple pastries, yogurts, fruit and donuts. The staff were really good, friendly and accommodating, I get the impression there’s some new members of the team and they’re doing a superb job. This hotel is fine for a city centre base, the rooms are not designed for you to be in there all day, they’re designed to come back to and collapse after a long day.
