“Overall a good stay.”
We had a good overnight stay in the hotel. Room was fine - a bit tired in places but was spacious and had all that you needed. “Very comfortable hotel”
Very nice hotel comfortable room and very bright and clean bathroom. Good to see a slip mat in bathroom. Only gripe I had was the bar was freezing amd wine £12 a glass i can get 2 bottles for that price in my local supermarket. Staff very helpful. Breakfast good nice to see a large mug for tea … more

“Food let it down”
We have stayed in the grand before and that time we booked a small double which wasn't the best. This time we booked a superior double which was a great room. “Horrible food”
I must say the meal we had on Monday night was just ok( basically no choice) and breakfast on the Tuesday was horrific. You could hammer nails in with the bacon and sausages as everything was so hard( it was definitely food from the previous day) also beans were cold. Not a pleasant experience.
