Great hotel for adults. Fab location. Beds super comfy and gd sized rooms. We gad lovely sea view even in Feb was lovely to look out onto fistral beach to watch brave surfers. Neil, breakfast manager, and Callum were so friendly and helpful, really made us feel relaxed and welcome. Really enjoyed our 2nd stay here. We will definitely return next year. Just a pity its a 700 mile round trip for us by car. Worth every mile x

“Lovely modern hotel with amazing views and friendly staff.”

Lovely hotel, very modern, amazing friendly and helpful staff. The food was excellent in the bar, and again, our waiter was very nice. Very much enjoyed the views, and the spa was very clean and nice facilities. Only complaint with the spa was most of the lockers didn’t lock and the hair conditione… more

Lovely hotel, very modern, amazing friendly and helpful staff. The food was excellent in the bar, and again, our waiter was very nice. Very much enjoyed the views, and the spa was very clean and nice facilities. Only complaint with the spa was most of the lockers didn’t lock and the hair conditioner in the showers wasn’t replaced. Only gripe I had with the stay was we booked for a full breakfast which we didn’t have as I wanted to do a yoga class straight afterwards and they wouldn’t let us amend it to a continental one, which would have been more than adequate for us, neither would they amend it for the following day.

“Lovely sea views”

Visited for a three day spa break been a couple of times before and always have a sea view room on the upper floors this time they gave us a ground floor overlooking the carpark not anywhere as nice a view car lights shine into room at dusk so you have to draw curtains spoiling the sunset avoid roo… more

Visited for a three day spa break been a couple of times before and always have a sea view room on the upper floors this time they gave us a ground floor overlooking the carpark not anywhere as nice a view car lights shine into room at dusk so you have to draw curtains spoiling the sunset avoid rooms 1 to 4 if you can , food ok limited menu not pub grub small portions but very filling staff all friendly especially in the dune restaurant bottle water in room not sure its fresh tasted sour refillable glass bottles so maybe just refilled from tap spa good all working sauna steam and jacuzzi all good will visit again but not ground floor .

“Not as good as it looks”

The the staff are pleasant and the hotel is very clean. Our room had plenty of wardrobe and drawer space and a fridge, our view was the tops of flat roofs, nothing more. Now for the bad points, it's up a steep hill which is about a 45 minute walk from the town (even longer coming back up the hill)… more

Now for the bad points, it's up a steep hill which is about a 45 minute walk from the town (even longer coming back up the hill) and beach. Breakfast was OK, usual full English, fresh fruit, toast etc, evening meal had too many herbs, spices and seeds for my liking but others would like that. If you go there on a coach tour as we did, ignore the food photos, they're for private guests, coach people don't get the same. Having said that, going there was an experience I don't wish to repeat. It's a lovely hotel if its your kind of holiday but sadly I don't think it's a good place for a coach tour.
