“Could be made a great hotel”
Lovely building and surroundings but definitely not 4*. Bedroom badly needing refurbishment as is bar. No servicing in Bedroom for the 4 nights I was there. If you need clean towels ask at reception. Seems shortage of staff e g no clearing of breakfast dirty plates. Dinner was fine

“Lovely place. Everything great but the food........”
Staff great Rooms good. Parking and location great. Everything worked well but the restaurant is tired and so uninspiring. Limited menu (often a good sign) but v expensive for some underwhelming produce. If a decent meal was on offer this place would be a brilliant place to stay.
