In our 4 weeks touring the UK this was on of the most pleasant stops we had. The room, recently updated,was well planned, well equipped and air conditioned. Comfortable king bed. The bar/lounge area was simple and served a variety of good food and drinks. The buffet breakfast was the best we had seen on our travels. Variety and fresh. All the staff we met were engaging and professional. And for what we paid was good value .

Stayed for 1 night at the DoubleTree Nottingham. The hotel is in a great location to get into the centre of Nottingham. Stayed for 1 night at the DoubleTree Nottingham. The hotel is in a great location to get into the centre of Nottingham. I stayed in one of the newest rooms that had recently been added and it was excellent. Modern, comfortable and I enjoyed a very good nights sleep Plenty of parking at the hotel which is a bonus I would stay here again

“A very pleasant stay in a well run, comfortable hotel.”

This is our first visit to this hotel, but it won't be the last! A lovely comfortable room and bed, very good food and friendly, well-trained staff all made for a very pleasant experience. The hotel is easy to find and in a pleasant setting. All in all we are very happy to recommend it.

I seldom leave reviews unless I feel genuinely compelled to share high-value experiences.... and am delighted to say that the Doubletree in Nottingham is extremely worth your time & money. I frequently travel for business, travelling down from Yorkshire to fly from London/Heathrow, so this hotel provides the perfect 'mid-distance' stay between home and the airport. Having stayed in many hotels globally, and the large majority of those being Hiltons, I feel I am well poised to say that this venture is absolutely one of the best. It has a really unique quality in that it seems to get 'everything very right' - as opposed to excelling in only 1 or 2 areas. The restaurant is great, room quality and cleanliness is excellent, gym is full of enough equipment, decor and atmosphere great, extremely reasonably priced....and most importantly a team of staff that actually care. Having travelled around a lot, in my opinion the staff of an establishment (Restaurant/hotel/flight) are the absolute deal-maker and have the opportunity to elevate the overall experience to new highs. The team here are wonderful. I would like to give a special acknowledgement to Michael, who operates Front Desk. Michael has a great proficiency in seeming to learn guest-names very quickly... and I have often marvelled at his interactions with other guests, always speaking to them by name as if he has known them for years! He is extremely helpful, and on many occasions has willingly accepted deliveries/parcels for me whilst I've been overseas. He is extremely patient and humble, and a really really valuable asset for this hotel. I'll continue to stay here, and would recommend it a great stay - usually also very reasonably priced.
