My wife and I had checked in to the village into a family room on 13th February 2026, we unpacked and settled down before the evening started, the room although massive was not warming up, we had both heaters on and the temp did not rise past 16C anyway I went to complain at the lobby when a lady and her son was cleaning some rooms along the corridor, she asked if I was ok and if she could help, I explained to her the problem and she came to the room to investigate, she could not believe how cold it was and radioed reception and told what was happening and told us she had cleaned a similar room next door, she told us to wait while she tried to get the room next door warmed up, she saw we had unpacked and told us not to worry her son and herself will help us move, we checked the room and that too was not warming up, she contacted maintenance who said they will try to get in to fix it, she then decided to take us to another room on the other side of the hotel which was warm, she told us to wait while her son and herself got our baggage and brought it to our room, she then sorted out the key passes for us and updated reception on our changed situation, we thanked her and offered her and her son a tip but they both declined we asked for there names for a special mention and to add to this review it was Sarah and Tom Cox both should be recognised for going beyond there normal duty, thank you both.

“Great but could be better”

The car park was nice ,big and spacious but I think they could be a little better with there signage for guests as it didn’t say guests didn’t need to pay for the car park .We got a family room and it was great but the double bed was unfortunately too single beds put together and I don’t think they clean under the beds .And the children’s bed was on the floor. We also visited the Starbucks. It was very nice with lots of varieties of snacks and drinks .for dinner .there was very good service and there were lots off different places you could sit. But there were only five options for the pudding menu, which I think they could have more variety. Their breakfast was amazing as There were lots of different varieties of hot and cold food .also I ate six yoghurts. They were really good I highly recommend The yoghurts.
