“LOVELY HOTEL - GREAT STAFF”
Lovely hotel and staff. Everything spotless. Excellent breakfast. Only gripes - needed a curtain over the window with a blind in Room 19. Sun was blinding through the slats about 5am! “Wonderful stay”
We had a great 2 nights stay. Great location for walks. Staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast good. Room huge but could do with some updating.

“Afternoon Tea”
I have loved this place for a number of years, but it has been a while since we last came for afternoon tea. Today I was quite sad to see the decline in the care of this beautiful building. “Mixed bag!”
Heritage room and reception staff great. Standard double and ops manager needs some work to meet standards. Spa - if you staying in hotel call as soon s you book room to try to get in, it’s independent so has external members and gets too busy to be relaxing or even available
