“Lovely home cooked food”
One night stay on business, comfortable room and great home cooked food, it was a difficult decision to make as so many options sounded so good. Opted for the chicken and broccoli pie, lovely flaky pastry and delicious filling, large pot of gravy, veg and chunky chips, simply superb and good value… more

“Gary and his high demands.”
What a shame that Gary and his wife cannot read. The pub had run out of hand cut chips due to a very busy lunchtime and so frozen chips where substituted. “The perfect family roast dinner.”
We had the most fantastic carvery today! There were three perfectly cooked meats, the best Yorkshire puddings, and a HUGE range of vegetables. The gravy and roast potatoes were lovely too. We cannot wait to return for Christmas Day! Thanks Paul and team for looking after us!
