Excellent rooms and beds. Very comfortable. Staff were fantastic. The breakfast range was delicious, full breakfast and continental fab.

When we arrived we were met by a wonderfully pleasant and smiling lady at reception. She immediately put us at ease and talked us through all the process for check-in and check-out as well as pointing us in the right direction for a beer after a long drive on a warm day. The Toby restaurant is adjacent to the premier in plus. On arriving in the room we were met by a particularly well designed area with coffee machine, hairdryer and kettle with a hanging area for garments. The TV was of good size and cased within a very modern media wall made to fit. The chairs within the room were very contemporary and fitted in to the colour of the room. A wall panel with easy to operate modern controls for the air conditioning unit was a great unobtrusive addition. The en-suite was very smart with a nighttime setting for the lights which was not a distraction during the night when the light was a welcome beacon for navigating your way to the loo! The coffee provided was of great quality and the coffee machine easy to use. On to the bed; literally. Clearly premier inns have spent a fair bit of time designing these beds with Silentnight. The bed was undoubtedly one of the best things to compliment the room design. It was very comfortable as were the pillows. 2 different types of pillows to cater for most needs although, I suspect, not everyone. Neat addition you could use QR code to get silentnight price information as well as prices for said pillows and bedding. Breakfast was superb and offered everything you could need in a welcoming environment. Young gentleman serving and chef were a credit to the place too. As a final point I would like to say the staff in the premier inn Middlesbrough central were exceptional, very approachable and always willing to offer conversation and not just one word answers (as is often the case). I would definitely recommend this as your go to destination in Middlesbrough central. Great location to all routes. Well done premier inn Middlesbrough central

“WOW.... Those beds are super comfy.”

A great hotel. Incredibly clean, bed is superb. Very good night's sleep, and the receptionist couldn't do enough to help. A very professional attitude.

Wasn’t one of the better premier inns we had stayed in We knew no AC in advance but still had winter duvets on, fan was provided but still hot The major problem with this hotel was the toilets, we had 2 rooms, in one of the rooms didn’t work at all and in the other worked minimally, as staying 2 nights we did mention to reception but still didn’t work well, had to fill the kettle with water to flush the toilet, far from ideal, didn’t feel staff took seriously enough, no one on reception to discuss with again when left Also trying to get bottled water was an issue, vending machine had none so if you wanted to buy from reception needed cash, we didn’t have any Also they made a point of asking if wanted fresh towels which we said yes to but never received Was clean and bed was comfy
